Wow , we were very inprest driving into the car park, so clean. The staff were very freindley and welcomimg , the shower/tiolet block spotless and wam. The team should be very proud . We will be making many more visits to Sumners in the future. Manyt thanks all.

A great site. I have stayed lots of times and will certainly be back. With lots of great dog walks it would be useful if there were dog washing taps or even outdoor taps with hoses to help rinse off a muddy dog. And allowing bookings for a single night on the internet would be useful.

We stayed as a family everything was perfect

Some of the staff wasn't friendly. Lack of communication. I had my bbq smoker which is right off the floor one staff member said I was allowed to use it than another member of staff said no but was very rude about it. I used the same bbq last year with no problems.

We have stayed a lot of times we have stayed in Lilly lodge three time it is a lovely lodge we have seen prices go up a lot and find the cafe prices very expensive we don’t use the cafe but that is are choice very hard lake to fish is sumners pond lake we find that each time we come. What we think would be a nice idea is if you are staying in one of the lodges and paying all that money is to be able to have a one day pass to go fish on a different lake instead of having to pay to go on a different one for the day in with the holiday package. Also with other holiday places we have been to they do a early booking fee would that be something you would look in to with a extra charge and the option to get in early we would definitely take that option just for the two luxurious lodges. The staff are great as always we didn’t go out all week as was there to fish but we said next time we go we would go in to the town centre

This was a return visit fore us. The lodge was excellent as always. The dog welcome pack was a nice touch. Regardless of the weather it is a relaxing way to spend time. We are booked in again in May. Great local pub.

Firstly, the booking was really easy. A quick call with a friendly employee, and the dates were in. The follow-up communication was spot on and prompt. We even got a phone call on the day of arrival to let us know the accommodation was ready early, which was very handy, as we'd left super early out of excitement!My son and I both like fishing, my wife and daughter not so much, so we'd booked a lodge so that we could all be together as a family. The ledge was so much better than expected—great facilities and heated, which was important due to the weather we had. To add to this, fishing from the lodge was perfect, as we didn't have to sit in the rain all weekend. Met with produce upon arrival: eggs, lovely fresh milk, bread, and a cake were a lovely touch. I'm running out of characters now. We have put down a deposit for next year, which shows how much we loved it.
