At Street Head Caravan Park we have pitches for privately owned static caravans, seasonal and touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans, tents and everything in between.
We endeavour to ensure all areas of our park are clean, tidy and maintained to a high standard.
We were so happy to open our new facilities block in Spring 2021. Except for the laundry, which is near the cottage, all shared facilities are in a new block between the touring and camping fields.
Our on-site facilities include:
Shower Block
We have separate rooms for gents and ladies. The new shower cubicles are spacious and have a drying area with seat to make changing easier. As well as toilets and wash basins, you will find soap, sanitiser, hand dryers, hair dryers and large mirrors provided for your convenience.
Washing-up Room
Our indoor washing up room has 3 sinks, washing up liquid is provided so you don't need to remember it and to make the job a little more pleasant, the large windows offer views across Bishopdale. Here you will also find our Tourist Information area, a fridge and freezer, books and some activities such and jigsaws, playing cards, colouring books and crayons to use during your stay.
Laundry Room
Should you need to do any washing during your stay, a washing machine and dryer are available for your use as well as an iron and ironing board.
Bins and Recycling
Large commercial bins can be found in both the touring field and near the cottage in the upper static field, please only put bagged general waste and dog waste in these bins.
Bought some new equipment for your caravan or tent and can't take the obsolete cardboard boxes home? Well you don't need to, we will recycle these for you, please flatten and slide beside the commercial bins near the cottage.
Grey and Chemical Waste
We have disposal points for both grey and chemical waste close to the toilet and shower block. Please use this area only for disposal of liquids.
Electric Hook Up
All pitches in the main touring field and most pitches in the camping field are available with electric hook up (10 amp).
Arrival and Departure Times
You are welcome to arrive any time after 1.30pm
Departure is before 12 noon
Pets
We welcome pets to our site and have had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful breeds over the years, please do not be offended if we remember your pet's name and not yours. While most pets visiting are dogs, we ask that all are under control and taken off site for toileting and cleaned up after immediately (extra bags are available at reception if you run out). We ask that dogs be on a lead at all times while on site. Please take care when walking in the local area, especially when passing through fields with farm animals.
Noise
We try to run a happy campsite where everyone can enjoy themselves. Please help us by playing music at a level you can enjoy but will not disturb your neighbours. Quiet time is between 10.30pm and 8am and during these hours we ask for no unavoidable noise.
