Site was spotless and nothing was any trouble to staff

Strawberry hill farm is one of those places that you fall in love with, so much so that once you’ve been, you’ll stop going to other camping and caravan parks! Me and my family stay regularly, it’s our happy place!

I came with my 2 children the pitch was right next to silent bank it was also on a slope there was a sheer drop behind us the people next to me had cut off the road with their vans and then decided to put a massive gazebo on the road so you couldn’t get past at all the Friday night was very noisy with a large group of people up over from up on the tourer pitches shouting singing till about 2 in the morning having no consideration for other people

We've visited in the past and had a fantastic time and it seemed so family friendly, this time it was full of roman gypsies and people up till 3am the first night and still nosie and people partying at 5am the following morning. Not really acceptable when you have kids.

The site is well laid out. Serviced are adequate although the new shower block will be a great improvement when open. Disappointed that we were unable to access the shop in reception even though it should have been open. It was difficult to get anyone's attention for service. Would have liked a footpath down to the pub to get an evening meal.

This is a nice site with a little cafe, where the food all looked good, it also has a truck serving food on an evening which was delicious. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The toilet facilities were ok, but they're building bigger and better facilities which should be open next year. The plots, in our opinion, are a little bit close together. During all communication with the site they state 'strictly no vans' however, when we got there, there were quite a few work vans on the site.

It our 2nd stay here at strawberry hill farm. Lovely family ran site.Just 20 mins away from home to just chill, only down side is no sockets to dry your hair in the toilets.Horsebox where u can have a few drinks n some food before heading back to your tent/caravan

I have stayed at Strawberry Hill Farm on a few occasions over the last 6-7 years. I find the campsite very convenient for Durham and easily accessible with the owners being very accommodating with us often arriving Late ⏰ n the evening.Unfortunately on my last stay I found the bathroom facilities very disappointing. The men’s sinks, toilets and showers were very dirty and in state of disrepair. Perhaps this is because what looks like a new facilities block is about to open on site.
