Very welcoming amazing food and entertainment music had fire on for customers,we actually went for walk and got lost was quite scary as it become dark and we were on motorway ,we rang the site to ask for taxi number and the owner actually came and picked us up which was really kind as most sites would not have done ,will definitely return we ahbe stayed 3 times and enjoyed every time

Prior to arrival, Louise sent us a comprehensive email detailing what 3 words (you need these) and access instructions, our pitch number, how to get to it and the code for the site & laundry.On arrival we went straight to our pitch and never actually spoke with anyone from the campsite all stay.Facilities are basic but clean. The showers are those that you have to keep pushing the button to keep the water going, but there was plenty of hot water. Chemical disposal is a short walk from the pitches up near the shower block, water and grey water disposal are down in the pitch area.2 things to note :- The site sits on the road called "Silent Bank", which is not quite the case, the main road outside the site is quite noisy, dual carriage way with a steep hill, so the traffic noise is quite loud.- Access to the site can only be achieved on the side of the road FROM Durham, if you are coming from the other direction you have to carry on to the roundabout and come back in.

Very friendly and helpful team at Strawberry Hill Farm - going the extra mile and letting us borrow an electric hookup cable as we'd forgotten ours! A great location, just outside Durham City and 5 minutes to my mum's house!Facilities were spotlessly clean and pitch was well maintained.

Showers toilets are very clean staff very helpful your a couple of miles from alot of shops near dragon vill

On arrival I had to clear a deep layer of leaves off my serviced pitch.The serviced pitch tap has a bad leak, Empty beer bottles on pitch & Lots of cigarettes.Pitch was big, abit of a walk to toilets, very dark at night as lights around pitches did not work.Toilets fairly clean during week, but from Friday, Saturday they were Discusting I think maybe due to one Large family group that turned up for weekend.Commercial vehicles on site also.Elsen point, no sanitizer.Stayed pitch 45Gardener did clear leaves mid week and cut grass, litter pick.Overall a nice site hidden away, unfortunately The Toilet/showers let it down, so I just used My own facilities.

We have been going to this site about three years now Adam and Louise are so welcoming and friendly. Would recommend the site to anyone, the giddy up bar does lovely food and the tearooms do amazing food as well and there cakes are to die for. Going this weekend with friends can't wait

We visited with a large group of family and had 4 caravans between us. The caravans were lovely, well equipped and warm heating. Beautiful views, friendly staff and enjoyed the food and drink at the tea room which had a nice covered outside area with a few games to entertain the kids. For a large family get away I woukd definitely recommend it. Couldn't fault the place and woukd definitely like to visit again 😊👍

This site was our first stop on a trip around Northumberland, great site with good size pitches and nice clean facilities. Would recommend

This was our second time visiting strawberry hill farm. We had a great time as before. Great facilities although toilets and showers need an up dating. The giddy yup bar food was amazing. Will defo be back in the future.

The park is tidy, welcome fine and the location on a bus route to Durham is great. BUT the facilities were absolutely disgusting, hadn’t been cleaned or bins emptied anytime recently. I could post photos but maybe the owners were having a bad week. At £33 a night it’s not a cheap site and I would have expected so much more. We will definitely not return or recommend.
