Lovely site with beautiful views. Spotless facilities. Very helpful staff.Just one negative comment, More hooks in the facilities would be great, there is nowhere to hang wet macs toiletries, only one hook available in the shower and none in the toilet or anywhere else,
This our 2nd stay at this little gem of a camp site. Top notch facilities, next to a cracking pub with great food, also very close to Alum Bay & Freshwater
Great staff good amenities well maintained and pleasant plenty of room on the pitch very close to needles good pub at the end of the road no more than 20 steps from the entrance of the camp site. Quite.
Stoats farm campsite was a lovely campsite to stay for our week away on the Isle of White. The toilet block was the best we have visited and the staff were pleasant and helpful, how ever we did feel the shower should have none slip mats. The bus stop is a bit of a walk to and from but getting around on the buses is very convenient.
The site was lovely and good facilities. However I struggled with the concept of taking shoes off to go into the toilets, this goes against everything I taught my children about public facilities. I feel wiping feet throughly would be sufficient. Even wearing Slippers into a public toilet is not ideal, especially for men's urinals. Additionally you need to provide Toilet brushes so people can clean up after themselves. Each morning there were multiple toilets that were dirty and my partner said the same for the men's. This could be easily avoided if you provided facilities for people to clean up after themselves. The showers also need to run for longer than 8 seconds, I had to repeated press the button just to wash myself. I appreciate this is to save water, but 8 seconds is unreasonable. Overall a lovely site which would be better if the above were considered.
Hi , Stoats farm is a well laid out and tidy site . The toilets and showers are spotless, modern and plentiful . Our pitch had electric on it and water was not too far away , it was fairly level so didn’t require ramps . There is a great pub just outside , friendly and serves good food , although like many , they struggle for staff so service can be slow . My only gripe is , when we arrived we were 30minutes early , the young girl refused to book us in even though there were plenty of spaces , but would book us in earlier but for extra payment .
Beautiful campsite in a quieter part of the IoW. Shower block is first rate - absolutely immaculate and very modern. Large fully serviced pitches with afforded lots of privacy. Excellent customer service at reception and in the small but very well stocked small farm shop. Great location for access to coastal path. Highly recommend this gem of a site
Great few days at this excellent site. Superbly-positioned for access to coastal footpath and the Needles. Well-run site with exemplary facilities and well-stocked shop with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent pub next door with well-kept cask ales and extensive food menu.
Lovely site and very helpful manager. The facilities are brand new and first class. A beautiful walk of only 2 miles to the Needles and Alum bay straight from the campsite. My only criticism is that there is not many level pitches for caravans, motorhomes or tents.
We only stayed for 2 nights but absolutely loved it. Handy to get down to Freshwater or Compton Bay, lovely well stocked shop and a pub within 5 minutes walk that serves great food. The site is immaculately kept. The toilet and shower facilities are a real sight to behold. I've been in nice hotels where the facilities aren't as clean. You've got lovely views all around and nice dark skies for the most part so you can sit out and watch the stars. We would definitely recommend and we'll certainly go back.
