We had a really lovely stay at this campsite and would definitely return. The site was very clean and well maintained, which made a great first impression. The shop was good, although a little limited at the moment—but that’s understandable as it’s still the beginning of the season. It had the essentials, and I imagine it will become better stocked as things get busier. Our pitch was excellent—spacious and well positioned—and the facilities across the site were also excellent, clean, and clearly well looked after.A real highlight was the new café. It’s a lovely addition to the site, and the food was genuinely excellent. It added something extra to the overall experience.Overall, a great campsite with plenty going for it already, and we’re looking forward to coming back again.
We stayed for 3 nights at Stoats farm. We had a lovely stay. Large pitches friendly staff and amazing facilities that are kept spotless. The cafe is lovely and the little shop as well. The views are lovely and the sunsets and sunrises are amazing from the campsite From arrival to departure the staff were accommodating friendly and chatty. We will be going back for sure .
The campsite is picturesque, nestled in a valley, the pitches are well maintained with young hedgerows between each pitch. The cafe and shop are spotless and clean. The welcoming was warm and inviting. The shower block and toilet facilities were the BEST we have ever been too on a campsite.Of an evening on a clear night theres no light pollution the stars were magnificent and the site is super quiet so the morning chorus was delightful. I would choose this campsite again when visiting the island again
Very nice campsite. Good, clean, friendly. With electricity on the pitch. Good small restaurant and the cliffs within walking distance. Some pitches are a bit sloping.
Just returned from Stoats Farm and can honestly say is one of the best campsites we've stayed at. A lot of care has been taken on the site by the owners which is clear to see.Set in beautiful countryside surroundings and with nice from most of the pitches.Fantastic cafe that serves a great breakfast, delicious coffees and cakes, and also does pizzas (closes 5.30pm, but is a friendly local pub just next door if you want to eat later and don't fancy cooking).Toilet block - cleanest I've ever used on a campsite with ample facilities. One bit of feedback which we gave at the time was to add some more hooks in the 2 family bathrooms (that is literally the only thing I could improve, but didn't diminish anything from the stay obviously).Stunning local walks with the Needles Headland and Tennyson Down Monument nearby. Will 100% be back. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Brilliant stay at Stoats Farm. Easy to book then discount on the ferry included. Great site with lovely views and well maintained pitches. The shower / toilet block was outstanding - modern and very clean with plenty of showers and toilets. Yes it was a bind to take your shoes off but well worth it to maintain the cleanliness. The outdoor sink areas were also perfect. All in all a beautiful place to stay - thank you
Beautiful location lovely clean and modern facilities well maintained helpful and friendly staff from initial phone booking to onset staff competitive pricing for stay Constructive observations; The pricing in the cafe . Significantly high and prohibitive for average income family of five on a camping holiday to consider having a meal . Three of the taps in the mens facilities didnt work ( sensor sensitive ) This wasnt a problem as the site was quiet but could be a significant problem in busier times . Thank you again for a lovely short break . We look forward to returning later in the year .
Forget the bad reviews; the lady everyone complained about has gone. There is now a very friendly greeting and a relaxed atmosphere. Pitches have chest height bushes between them so are more private. But who wants to be penned in anyway. Campervans were pitched both central and to one side, so the rules seem more relaxed than before. And the Site looked great, very clean & tidy.Yes, you need a pair of flip flops or alternative "clean" shoes to use the facilities block. But the facilities are SPOTLESS!The onsite Cafe has wifi, but we had excellent reception EE & O2 out on the pitches as well as excellent TV signal.Cafe looked very nice, as did the food being served, but unfortunately we didn't have time to use on our 3-night stay. Should have stayed longer.10 minute walk to Totland for nearest bus-stop, and a further 5 minute walk to Totland bay. With a 5-day Bus pass you can be anywhere on the Island in 90 minutes. No hesitation in recommending this sit
Stayed here for the first time - 3 days at the end of April. Clean and well run. Good price. Nice café. Good pub opposite. Close to dog-friendly Compton Beach.
