Stoats Farm has accommodation for touring vehicles and tents with a variety of pitch sizes and facilities. There is a choice of hard standing or grass pitches for vehicles all of which have either electrical hook-up or are fully serviced (electrical hook-up, dedicated water point and grey waste drain). Our tent pitches are all spacious and can accommodate tent sizes from single person through to large families. All sizes of tent pitches have a choice of electrical hook-up.

Our new five star facilities block offers underfloor heating, private showers with private changing areas, hairdryers, two family/disabled wash rooms, enlarged WC cubicles and baby change units. There are sockets to top up your mobile phone, and a complimentary freezer to freeze ice blocks. On both sides of the block we have outside food preparation areas and washing up sinks. A flushable Elsan chemical disposal point is provided at the rear of the block. All facilities are free of charge to campsite guests.

We are accessible to all and our facilities block include shallow gradient ramps, disabled washrooms with accessible WCs and shower facilities, low level sinks and urinals for children and ambulant toilet cubicles. Our Bark Park caters for the dog families where your pets can be allowed to run free in a secure environment.

The well stocked onsite shop caters for all your needs from morning coffee and pastries, snacks, essentials, toys, camping equipment and produce from our local Isle of Wight suppliers.

The site is surrounded by fantastic coastal paths and we are within easy walking distance to The Needles and Freshwater Bay. The Island is a cycling paradise and we are well located as a base or stopover. Opposite the entrance to the site is the Highdown Inn public house serving daily specials including locally caught fish, whilst The Hut and The Waterfront restaurants are both within easy reach.

Stoats farm July 26

Sewell, Anthony - 16/07/2026

Stoats farm has an excellent location local to Totland bay and the Needles with great views, we had a normal pitch ( not serviced) which was great .its hedges between. The toilets /showers were excellent. Even the dish washing water was hot. The rule of no outside footwear inside though was strange...many ignored, some didn't read/understand the requirements. Personally I walked Bear foot in the building. Never seen this anywhere else and I gather it's purely to not clean so often !Cafe looked great but I never used it.Great pub very close.

Excellent but a few tweaks needed

Vale, Andrew - 15/07/2026

Without doubt the cleanest campsite I have ever stayed on, well done, nice have an excellent cafe and pub on site, we made use of both. We never take our motorhome out so we walked, which was great apart from the heat.Maybe the site staff could cut back the dividing hedge as this was a problem with thorns when emptying tanks and water. One other small point you need hangers in the toilets, to hang towels and toilet bags on. As I would imagine most people use the loo prior to showering , I had to put mu stuff on the floor. As we were in a heatwave when we were there the showers were way to hot, we hate push button showers that can’t be regulated, I’m sure we’re not alone..Just one more point better signage when you arrived as to where reception is, not much use on the shop door when it’s open, can’t see it. Great stay lovely people, Best wishes Andy Vale

Visit in a Heatwave!

Wright, Mark - 15/07/2026

We visited in our Motorhome and had the fully Serviced pitch next to the bins & this was not ideal, the pitch itself was a bit “ tired” and not level and it was quite difficult because of the terrain to level and for over £40 a night in mid season I thought it was expensive😟On first sight the Amenities block looks very nice; however whoever designed it was not a caravaner! Little things let it down, only one hook in each shower, no toilet brush’s? The mirrors were fixed at a height by someone 5 foot! But maybe the worst aspect was the Elsen toilet emptying point, it’s round the back of the block but you have to go past the laundry or washing up area, infull view of that area when you are emptying your toilet 😟We also had about 16 bell tents in front of us and a Swiss Scout group turned up for our last night ( we stayed 3 nights), to be fair they were no problem and very polite. We ate their restaurant & the pub opposite 👍Overall, it’s a nice site, just choose your pitch caref

Amazing holiday camping

Richards, Jade - 13/07/2026

5

Lovely place to stay on isle of Wight. The facilities were allways spotless. Beach only 5mins away brilliant for a swim and lovely walks all around for the dog. The bark park is such a good idea also. The takeaway pizza from the cafe, is a must try. The pub down road had great food and entertainment with a beer festival for the weekend. Only thing that could improve was that the hiring of the electric hook up was a little bit frustrating, could have been a bit smoother upon returning equipment, staff didn't seem to have a process regarding it.Other than that lilltle thing the holiday was fantastic and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay on isle of wight and can't wait to return.

The pub is literally next door but unfortunately it’s absolutely filthy and the food is not great.Didn’t use the onsite cafe but it’s immaculate and always looked busy. Was looking forward to buying a locally baked bread roll as on website but apparently they go stale so don’t do them now.
