A well organised site with excellent facilities, close to café & local pub with super friendly staff & customers! Close to walking up onto Tennyson Downs & the Needles.
Be prepared for exceptionally clean toilet and washing facilities. Great location for local walks from the campsite - Tennyson Down, the Needles, Alum Bay and the old railway track along the river Yar to Yarmouth. Great pub across the road serving decent beer and food. Very friendly staff on site and dog friendly with a dedicated area where dogs can run off lead. Would thoroughly recommend.
The facilities at this site are really goid. Very clean and well maintained. The on site cafe serves very nice food and there's nice walks on your doorstep. We live on the island and go here for short breaks.
nice clean quite site top class facilities also everything you need is on site for your stay
We stayed here for a couple of nights for my husband's birthday. We have stayed a couple of times before so we knew that we loved it's location and facilities. Since our last visit the cafe/restaurant has opened. We enjoyed a really tasty breakfast with good quality ingredients. The atmosphere in the cafe was relaxed and peaceful. The pub opposite the site provided us with a super birthday meal. Lots of veggie options in a great location. We enjoyed walks along the coastal paths and ended up at The Needles. (Stunning views)The campsite is really clean and tidy and staff are friendly and helpful. The only reason for 4 stars, instead of 5 is that most of the shower/toilet block was closed, with only 2 family rooms available. I understand that there were not many campers on site, but a couple of times there was no available toilet because people were using the shower. This meant having to wait outside for 10 -15 mins to use a toilet!
my first visit to the Isle of Wight and our first time camping in our van.Stoats Farm was impeccably kept, the facilities were very clean and of a high standard. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, the food was lovely and well priced. We could have not have asked for a better place to stay for our first trip out.Thank you for a lovely visit we would not hesitate to recommend
We wanted a birthday weekend away in the campervan. The site was well located near the needles and a good pub. Enjoyed pizza from the cafe on Friday. Very quiet with no wifi unless in the cafe which was nice with good facilities. Shame the bathrooms were closed all weekend; the temperature of one of the two showers kept fluctuating, but the disabled bathrooms were very spacious and clean. We both felt the no shoes in the facilities block rule was a bit excessive when you're paying to stay there and can wear them in the cafe next door...
No WiFi when in the van was a pain.Expensive add ons and not able to bring own fire pit or bbq but charged to hire one.Lovely location though.
Such an excellent campsite.Lots of great pitches not near each other.Great stunning location. The facilities are so nice and well kept and immaculate. The new cafe is stunning great quality.
We love it here and highly approve of the beautiful new facilities. We were the only campers in the field _ a non electric pitch for our camper van. We had the most beautiful views and walk to celebrate our first camp of the year! Thankyou, we will be back.
