Beautiful campsite within walking distance of beaches at Totland and Alum Bay
Absolutely lovely campside, very nice spot, good communication with the staff, clean bathroom. Very highly recommended!
Overall the site was very good. Pitches were spacious, the toilet, shower and washing up facilities were excellent, and site location was great. The site didn’t feel too busy even in the summer holidays. The cafe was very good, as was the shop, although it could have done with more food essentials like bread. It would have been nice if there was a children’s play area and if they had waited to clean the toilet/shower facilities until after the 11am check out time.
We had a great stay at the campsite. The facilities were excellent but it would have been useful to know in advance that on the Sunday they are closed between at least 10am and 2.30pm for deep cleaning. It would also be nice to have a later checkout than 11am, as it does make the finalMorning quite stressful. Overall, however this is a very good campsite and we would recommend it to others.
This was our second visit to Stiats Farm, the first being in the summer of 2022. Since then many improvements have been made, both to the facilities and staff. The toilets and showers continue to be clean and centrally based. The site is picturesque with wonderful views of the downs abd a clear night sky. The staff are helpful and friendly and the cafe and shop if excellent quality. The bark park was useful to us and the proximity of walks on the downs and Totlabd Bay, as well as supermarkets in Freshwater make it an ideal vase for exploring the West Wight The only reaps I out hood rather than out standing is Jack if shade. I do realise this will improve as trees grow but maybe another shaded outdoor area could be considered during these hot summers?
This was our favourite site that we stayed.im during our 2 week family holiday across the new forest and isle of wight. It was tranquile with lovely views, well kept facilities, easy access to multiple local beaches (we had e bikes). It also has a lovely on-site cafe and a great local pub with a play area that allowed us a relatively quiet drink in the evening. We can't believe how quite this site was in the height of the summer holidays, given how amazing it is. We are so happy we found this little gem and highly recommended it to others.
We stayed for one night only but will definitely be back for another soon. The staff were very friendly and the site was well presented. The facilities were high quality and clean.
We last stayed at Stoats Farm 4 years ago. We were really impressed that the facilities were the same excellent quality, kept immaculately clean, friendly staff and now the addition of a beautiful cafe! Pizzas and tapas were delicious and the children kept refusing ice cream out so that they couls have it back at the campsite! We will plan to return again!
We had a fantastic two-night stay at Stoats Farm and honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough. It’s one of the cleanest and best-maintained campsites we’ve ever stayed at.Our pitch was a really good size, and everything about the site was clearly very well cared for. The staff were incredibly welcoming and communication before and during our stay was excellent. They were also really helpful with suggestions about places to visit and things to do on the island. The little café is brilliant too — really well stocked, with delicious coffee, and a lovely addition to the site. The views are absolutely stunning, but one of our favourite things was how dark the site gets at night. There’s very little lighting, which makes for an incredible view of the night sky. Sitting outside looking at the stars was a real highlight of our stay. All in all, a fantastic campsite, great value for money and somewhere we’d happily return to. We’ll definitely be back!
Sadly we only stayed one night on this gorgeous campsite. The site has wonderful views of Tennyson Down, is very quiet with ample, spotlessly clean facilities. The cafe serves delicious food and the service is efficient and friendly. Handy to have a pub next door to the site and you can walk to Alum Bay beach or up onto to the downs. Lots to explore in the delightful West Wight. We will definitely return for a longer stay.
