This was our second time visiting Stoats Farm, both times have been perfect. The site is quiet but friendly with an amazing little shop selling everything you can think of and even camping essentials you may not have! All parts of the site were clean and the quality of the shower block was second to none. I truly enjoyed both stays at Stoats Farm and look forward to returning in the future.
Site location great if your looking for peaceful sleepingFacilities very clean as good as Five star hotelOnly issue it was first campsite I’ve ever been asked to remove your shoes on entry to the toilet shower block not a bad thing keeps them clean Shop on site bit pricey on some items The pub outside campsite excellent and great food would highly recommend The campsite in general is kept very tidy and very presentable
This is a very well looked after site with a lovely clean toilet and shower block, helpful staff and great views across the countryside. Also plenty to do within easy reach. The biggest downside was a very poor, often non-existent, phone signal (I use GiffGaff and haven't experienced a problem anywhere else) coupled with no WiFi being available, unless you visited the neighbouring pub. It made looking up information about local attractions, booking tickets or even getting a weather forecast very difficult, and often impossible. This was the only issue that would make me question a return visit. Stoats Farm, providing a WiFi connection would be so easy to fix and you could even make a small charge for the service, as many other campsites do, so a win, win situation. Please could you get this sorted out, as I would love to come back!!
Lovely quiet and stunning location. Possibly the best campsite we’ve stayed on. Hotel standard toilets and showers and very quiet but with a pub just next door with great food. Lovely friendly hosts with great walking route tips. Huge pitches, would recommend.
Accessibility of site is excellent, as is the location if you want to be based near West Wight attractions. Wide open site, with spacious pitches. Even a Bark Park for exercising your four legged friends. Overall value for money is good. We needed to be in that exact location visiting family.Toilets and showers very clean, some may say the best experienced whilst camping. The camp site rules are strictly enforced (and rightly so), which obviously helps running of this clean site. A very short walk to the Highdown Pub - thoroughly recommended, excellent menu and service. Campsite shop offers coffee and fresh pastries which can be ordered the night before, along with a good selection of essentials.
Great location and bathroom and kitchen facilities were excellent.
Clean tidy site for both motorhome and tent Pitches.Brand newly built. Washrooms. Excellent facilities even asking users to change to indoor shoes to keep block tidy.Large. Camping field slightly sloping with some electric hookups . Different sized motorhome pitches. Well stocked shop and Brilliant local high down inn which had. A. 3 day beer festival with bands . Top location for walks.Staff very friendly and kept site spotless.Dontw park two cars on site as you’ll be told to park second. Vehicle in car Park.Recommend?Yes and we’ll stay again
Beautiful campsite, stunning view, luxorious sanitary in a pittoresque environment.
Exposed in most areas. And uneven ground. But all things considered, 6/10.
The staff were absolutely wonderful ,exceptionally clean facilities and amenities. It was a shame about the weather but nobody can predict that.we will definitely be back again.
