Stoats Farm has accommodation for touring vehicles and tents with a variety of pitch sizes and facilities. There is a choice of hard standing or grass pitches for vehicles all of which have either electrical hook-up or are fully serviced (electrical hook-up, dedicated water point and grey waste drain). Our tent pitches are all spacious and can accommodate tent sizes from single person through to large families. All sizes of tent pitches have a choice of electrical hook-up.

Our new five star facilities block offers underfloor heating, private showers with private changing areas, hairdryers, two family/disabled wash rooms, enlarged WC cubicles and baby change units. There are sockets to top up your mobile phone, and a complimentary freezer to freeze ice blocks. On both sides of the block we have outside food preparation areas and washing up sinks. A flushable Elsan chemical disposal point is provided at the rear of the block. All facilities are free of charge to campsite guests.

We are accessible to all and our facilities block include shallow gradient ramps, disabled washrooms with accessible WCs and shower facilities, low level sinks and urinals for children and ambulant toilet cubicles. Our Bark Park caters for the dog families where your pets can be allowed to run free in a secure environment.

The well stocked onsite shop caters for all your needs from morning coffee and pastries, snacks, essentials, toys, camping equipment and produce from our local Isle of Wight suppliers.

The site is surrounded by fantastic coastal paths and we are within easy walking distance to The Needles and Freshwater Bay. The Island is a cycling paradise and we are well located as a base or stopover. Opposite the entrance to the site is the Highdown Inn public house serving daily specials including locally caught fish, whilst The Hut and The Waterfront restaurants are both within easy reach.

Could find no fault

This was the cleanest campsite we've stayed at on the IOW. Alex was particularly helpful, informative and friendly (as was Isambard!). The showers & toilets were immaculate & I think shoes off in that area is a great idea. The actual pitch we had was lovely with plenty of room and what a view! The one way driving system is also a great idea particularly from a safety perspective - it helps children to know which way the cars are coming from. There are no real areas for improvement but if were we going to be picky........Our only suggestions from improvement are: * like ALL campsites, there were not enough hooks in the shower cubicle* it might be nice to have more details, in the shop or as you check-in, to know what's in the local area ie: is there a footpath nearby that takes you up onto Tennyson Down?* where is the nearest beach you can swim in (I believe Totland Bay isn't suitable but Colwell Bay is & they are next to each other?)We will definitely be b

Lovely welcome but need to work on prevention rather than cure!

Knight, Susan - 19/05/2023

SatisfiedLovely friendly welcome, happy to help with local info. Very precise info on how to position self on pitch but will confuse some who are used to club site regulations about positioning upto a post. ( ie my aggrieved neighbour who had to move a metre over even though they had their awning up)Dissatisfied The whole change into indoor shoes to enter facilities was farcical. I get it you want to protect your investment and minimise cleaning and ensure facilities stay cleaner longer. All for your benefit and at inconvenience of your guests , who I have to say have paid more than going rate for privilege of camping on a sloping field! The field is the cause of the issue, please don’t leave the grass to get so long that when cut it leaves huge mounds of grass cuttings ( invest in a collecting grass cutter) that you can’t help traipsing into toilet block and hence the indoor shoe fiasco! More thought on prevention and less on cure will help everyone involved
