Stoats Farm has accommodation for touring vehicles and tents with a variety of pitch sizes and facilities. There is a choice of hard standing or grass pitches for vehicles all of which have either electrical hook-up or are fully serviced (electrical hook-up, dedicated water point and grey waste drain). Our tent pitches are all spacious and can accommodate tent sizes from single person through to large families. All sizes of tent pitches have a choice of electrical hook-up.

Our new five star facilities block offers underfloor heating, private showers with private changing areas, hairdryers, two family/disabled wash rooms, enlarged WC cubicles and baby change units. There are sockets to top up your mobile phone, and a complimentary freezer to freeze ice blocks. On both sides of the block we have outside food preparation areas and washing up sinks. A flushable Elsan chemical disposal point is provided at the rear of the block. All facilities are free of charge to campsite guests.

We are accessible to all and our facilities block include shallow gradient ramps, disabled washrooms with accessible WCs and shower facilities, low level sinks and urinals for children and ambulant toilet cubicles. Our Bark Park caters for the dog families where your pets can be allowed to run free in a secure environment.

The well stocked onsite shop caters for all your needs from morning coffee and pastries, snacks, essentials, toys, camping equipment and produce from our local Isle of Wight suppliers.

The site is surrounded by fantastic coastal paths and we are within easy walking distance to The Needles and Freshwater Bay. The Island is a cycling paradise and we are well located as a base or stopover. Opposite the entrance to the site is the Highdown Inn public house serving daily specials including locally caught fish, whilst The Hut and The Waterfront restaurants are both within easy reach.

Nice campsite with brand new facilities

Gomez Garcia, Inmaculada - 06/05/2022

Great facilities in a beautiful and quiet setting. The Needles, Freshwater Bay and Alum Bay are within walking distance. There is a nice pub just across the road.We visited the campsite first May Bank Holiday. The occupancy was low for the dates. The facilities are new and some of the best I've seen. Everything was sparkling clean during our stay. I understand they ask campers to change shoes in the bathroom block. However with higher occupancy and for the long term the managers should try enhanced cleaning and improvements such as a rack mat outside as not everybody (particularly children) will obey the notices. More hangers in the showers and washbasin areas will be helpful as well.We were travelling with a campervan so we were comfortable, however we did not see a hut or shed for tent campers to shelter e.g. for cooking in bad weather.Overall a great campsite, I hope they keep up with the good job.

A lovely peaceful site, with wonderful views. The new hedging dividing the pitches will be very effective once it matures. Good friendly pub opposite. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Site - First Class Facilities

Dunk, Peter - 02/05/2022

5

Excellent site with tip-top facilities that would grace a good hotel. All facilities were kept spotless hence the comment about a good hotel! Beautiful location and plenty of room for all types of motorhomes and tents. The staff were very helpful and pleasant at all times. A very peaceful and lovely setting for a restful and very enjoyable stay on the lovely Isle of Wight. The owners are doing a lot of work on the site which will only make it more lovely and a great place to stay. The trees and landscaping are complete and when it is mature it will be an especially private, peaceful site. I will certainly be returning to this first class site.

Stoats Farm

Johnson, Peter - 22/04/2022

4

Great location but expensive compared to other sites. When you hire a pitch and then get charged for all sorts of extras, doesnt work for me. Could explain why there were many free pitches at easter bank holiday. The toilet block is far above any camping standard i have experienced, however a set of draconian rules takes the shine off a good holiday experience. The staff were lovely. Suggest you review your pricing tariff and make your rules a little more friendly in tone.

Nice site and newly refurbished to a high standard

Mellor, Rebecca - 28/10/2021

5

Good sized spaces, some sloping so ramps would be needed and the ones at the bottom of the hill were a little soggy. Brand new facilities - being kept nice by a 'no outdoor shoes' policy which is a bit of a pain. Lacking in shelves/hooks to put dry things but that will probably get sorted over the winter. The showers are button controlled and currently cut off very quickly - we reported this and weren't the first to do so. We were off season so some loos/showers were locked to minimise cleaning which wasn't a problem - not sure if there were enough showers for a fully booked site.Great location for walking direct from the site to Tennyson Down/The Needles. Nice pub doing food across the road. Weather was very windy but the site was pretty sheltered. Little site shop had basics and fresh baked croissant/pain au choc every morning.
