South Wales Touring Park is nestled in the picturesque town of Llangennech near Llanelli, and stands as an exquisite adults-only touring park. Strategically located just a mile from junction 48 of the M4, this family-run gem serves as an ideal hub for exploring the wonders of South and West Wales.
Catering to both motorhomes and caravans, the park boasts 25 hard-standing pitches, each offering captivating views. Ensuring a comfortable stay, the facilities include heated shower rooms, toilets, dishwashing areas, and laundry facilities. For those seeking convenience, there are ten fully serviced pitches available. The park's membership in Tranquil Parks and Premier Parks underscores its commitment to providing a serene and top-notch experience.
While there is no on-site shop, the park compensates by arranging regular fresh deliveries. A weekly visit from the fishmonger and a Saturday morning appearance of a fruit and vegetable mobile shop add to the charm. Alternatively, the nearby Llangennech village, a mere 0.8 miles away, provides additional options for provisions.
Beyond the park's borders, adventure beckons. Carmarthenshire, recognised as a hiking hot-spot, offers some of the finest walking terrains. Visitors can explore the breathtaking landscapes ranging from Cardiff and the valleys to Pembrokeshire, the Towy Valley, the Brecon Beacons, and the Gower Peninsula.
For those with a penchant for botanical wonders, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a short 13-mile drive away, houses the world's largest single-span domed glasshouse. Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.
Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.
In essence, South Wales Touring Park/Llwynifan Farm stands as a haven for adult travellers seeking tranquillity, excellent amenities, and easy access to the diverse attractions of South and West Wales.

We stayed in 2025 and just had to return in 2026. The site is so peaceful and spotless clean. The team are extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. We really like to electric meter, only paying for what we use.The dog exercise area is great and people are so accepting of reactive dogs and wait until the field is free before entering.Local attractions we found this year that we recommend: - Swiss Valley Reservoir and the little cafe there.- Margam Country Park- Dinewfr Park - National Botanic Gardens of Wales. All the above are great days out with or without dogs. We have booked again for 2027.
Stayed here for 4 days , the campsite is easy to get to , showers are superb loads of room to put of your toiletries and towels . Site it immaculate. Hywel and his sister Cathrin are very helpful with information about the area , where to go for walks local restaurants. We will definitely be back .Thank you both so much
Hywel friendly and informative for us as a couple in a motorhome who travel to different areas to visit on electric bikes, I wish more sites do cycle trails on their websites
Llwynifan Farm is a very well set out site. The facilities are spotless as is the whole site. Quiet with lovely views and very reasonable cost to stay. Close to M4 making sightseeing and shopping very convenient. We are looking forward to our next visit. This is a must for everyone who is thinking of visiting or living in South WalesThank you to Howel & Cathrin. We will be returning.
Hywel the owner is very friendly. The site isn’t large so is quiet for adults looking to switch off. Facilities are immaculate and the so is the site. Fenced dog field with agility apparatus which our dog loved. Grass short, maintained by a robotic mower. Lovely welcom pack includes treats and bags for the dog. Mobile signal good. Close to other amenities (pubs, shops, beaches and tourist attractions) if you have a car.
Owners are friendly and helpful Facilities are spotless and site is well maintained.
We loved our stay.. Hywel & Cathrin really do look after the site. Exceptionally clean facilities, small and friendly and a great location.. I honestly could fault anything with our stay, we booked a serviced pitch and travelled with our friends, nice big pitches and a great secure off lead dog area.. Shower cubicles were big and clean as were the toilets. I loved seeing the cows grazing in the field and the special touch of receiving complimentary home baked doggy biscuits and poo bags was a lovely touch to welcome the pooch, he loved the treats so much we stocked up and bought more before we left.. Shops & takeaway 5 min drive away and some lovely restaurants also nearby which are dog friendly if you don’t want to cook. We visited the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Rhossili beach, Pembury, the Deer Park and Tenby all were lovely days outOverall we had a fantastic stay and couldn’t fault anything. Thank you Hywel and Cathrin for a lovely stay - I am sure we will be back
Will go back again loads to still see and do.
All good,
Great site, excellent facilities though a minor improvement would be hand basins in the shower cubicles. Overall very good
