For those with a penchant for botanical wonders, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a short 13-mile drive away, houses the world's largest single-span domed glasshouse. Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.

Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.

Another fabulous stay for us at this perfect site. Small, but perfectly formed. Howell & Cathrin work hard to ensure all guests have a lovely stay. Facilities are very clean and modern, pitches are huge (fully serviced ones) and even the standard pitches are very nice. Dogs are also well catered for with an enclosed exercise field and their own doggy wash area. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely site, very quiet, not crammed full of visitors and Hywell is so friendly and helpful. When pitches were vacated, Hywell then raked the gravel so that it looked fresh and without any ruts for the next visitor.

Hilltop privilege holiday.

Anderson, Ian - 04/08/2026

This beautiful hilltop farm has been transformed into an idyllic touring caravan and motor home site. Impeccably maintained from, and including the approach lane, right up to the last pitch on the site. The dog exercise area and all the other grassed areas are kept in a constantly manicured condition as are the hedge rows. All site amenities such as the shower block, dish washing and laundry facilities are always fresh and clean, the whole park is kept in lovely condition at all times no matter how busy it becomes. On top of all this the view across the valley and put over the landscape is breathtaking If you are looking for a peaceful, hidden treasure, this is the place to be, Hywell and Cathryn are lovely proprieters and will offer a warm welcome and do all they can to ensure your stay at South Wales Touring Park is a delightfully unforgettable experience Enjoy!!!

Beautiful site, fabulous owners

Flanagan, Anne - 01/08/2026

We were met on arrival by Hywel who showed us around the site and pitch etc. what an amazing site it is, immaculately clean, posh embroidered facecloths to dry your hands on instead of paper towels. They smelt delicious. The toilets had fresh flowers which Cathrin grew in her gorgeous garden. They are great hosts, brother and sister who quite rightly are very proud of their home and the campsite that the family have grown over many years. The secure dog field was great for George complete with doggy training equipment, agility course. Every pitch was spacious and had a stunning view. We had a fabulous stay and it was great for touring around the Gower and Pembrokeshire. Thank you to Hywel and Cathrin for making us do welcome.
