South Wales Touring Park is nestled in the picturesque town of Llangennech near Llanelli, and stands as an exquisite adults-only touring park. Strategically located just a mile from junction 48 of the M4, this family-run gem serves as an ideal hub for exploring the wonders of South and West Wales.
Catering to both motorhomes and caravans, the park boasts 25 hard-standing pitches, each offering captivating views. Ensuring a comfortable stay, the facilities include heated shower rooms, toilets, dishwashing areas, and laundry facilities. For those seeking convenience, there are ten fully serviced pitches available. The park's membership in Tranquil Parks and Premier Parks underscores its commitment to providing a serene and top-notch experience.
While there is no on-site shop, the park compensates by arranging regular fresh deliveries. A weekly visit from the fishmonger and a Saturday morning appearance of a fruit and vegetable mobile shop add to the charm. Alternatively, the nearby Llangennech village, a mere 0.8 miles away, provides additional options for provisions.
Beyond the park's borders, adventure beckons. Carmarthenshire, recognised as a hiking hot-spot, offers some of the finest walking terrains. Visitors can explore the breathtaking landscapes ranging from Cardiff and the valleys to Pembrokeshire, the Towy Valley, the Brecon Beacons, and the Gower Peninsula.
For those with a penchant for botanical wonders, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a short 13-mile drive away, houses the world's largest single-span domed glasshouse. Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.
Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.
In essence, South Wales Touring Park/Llwynifan Farm stands as a haven for adult travellers seeking tranquillity, excellent amenities, and easy access to the diverse attractions of South and West Wales.

Llwynifan farm is a very well kept caravan site, Hywel and Cathrin are friendly and very helpful, we stayed on pitch 8 which is fully serviced. The view over the mountain is spectacular 😊The toilet and shower rooms were immaculate and warm with underfloor heating, which was lovely. We would definitely go there again
The camp site is one of the best we have visited. It is in an excellent location only 2 miles from the M4 and with many places to visit in easy distance. The site is exceptionally well maintained, the shower block is cleaned numerous times a day and has many little extras like hand towels in the toilet area and underfloor heating in the showers. The recycling area is the cleanest most organised one I have seen at any camp. The is never any smell of rubbish and the bins are kept spotless. It is such a friendly site with Hywel always available from meeting you on your arrival to saying goodbye when you leave. We will return again and without doubt recommend the site
Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.We look forward seeing you again soon Hywel and Cathrin
Had a great stay despite awful weather.Loved the warm shower cubicles
Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.We look forward seeing you again soon Hywel and Cathrin
Hywel and Cathrin are incredible hosts. Our car broke down on our way to Llwynifan Farm and I called to explain we would be late. Hywel said it would not be a problem. However after the nice AA man got us on our way we encountered 3 traffic jams. We eventually arrived at 1930 in pouring rain to be greeted by Cathrin to show us to our pitch by torch light, The next day we awoke to a beautiful sunrise and a gorgeous view of the surrounding countryside. The site is well situated for drive into Swansea and Llanelli for the beaches. We will definitely be going again

Easy to get to site as just off M4 but very quite peaceful site.Immaculate facilitiesand site with lovely friendly owners. Would definitely recommend and we will be visiting again.
Had a lovely Christmas break caravan park was so clean and well maintained xJust a shame about the weather gale force winds But none the less we would definately come back again in the future Christina and wayne hambleton
Excellent as always, we decided to spend Xmas & New Year’s away for the first time, the site is always spotlessly clean with amazing showers & facilities, close to shops & retail parks, with the beaches on the Gower just a short drive away, sadly the weather was the worst, however we persevered, but left a day earlier than planned - we will be back in a heartbeat, when the weather gets warmer - thanks for another wonderful stay Hywel & Catrin
Lovely people very thoughtful in all they provided
It’s getting to feel like home from home, and every trip here is eventful, some in better ways than others! The weather has been truly awful, wondering if we would blow down the mountain, but just a few violent shakes. We managed to make a complete hash of the new electric system, it’s actually very simple folks. And extremely fair pricing. Will be back again.
Excellent stay as always, site is immaculate, facilities are spotlessly clean and the owners will do everything possible to make sure you have a great stay.
