Shays farm is a fantastic run campsite with very friendly hosts.The shower block and toilets are kept spotlessly clean and so are the grounds around the site, I can highly recommend this campsite to anyone, there is a local pub within 10min walking distance (Shrewsbury Arms) I've been to this site several times now and will continue to return well done to the Shays Team 10/10.

Shays Farm is a fabulous camp site , on arrival we was welcomed by the camp site warden , he was very helpful and advised us on the facilities and made sure we had everything we needed. The site is spotless and is cleaned though the day, toilets and showers in excellent condition and bin and waste areas are monitored constantly. We had an excellent stay and will definitely be booking again and would 100% recommend

Been here several times over past few years lovely well kept sight, wardens on sight to help if needed. Shower block spotless and always warm.Play area for kids and pub short walk away through path at the back near pods.Little fishing pond as well.We were lucky enough to see Kingfisher while we were there along with ducks herons and moorhens.

this is the second time at Shays farm the site is Clean well looked after and has a great Vibe will be back next year

Facilities lovely and clean well laid out pitches play area for kiddies, with separate field for footballers, fishing pond which has good stocks of fish large or tiddlers size! Handy for Oulton park Chester and delamere forest Lovely owners nothing is too much trouble for any of the owners or staff As we are elderly we try and get there at least once or twice a year in between school holidays!!,

Our first time on this site very very clean staff very helpful pub just around the corner (well just 10 mins walk up the field )

This was our 3rd or 4th stay at Shay's farm and won't be out last. The facilities are spotless, the grounds are kept near and tidy, the pitches are excellent and I can't find any fault with anything at Shay's farm. The warden is a really nice man who can't do enough for you, the little onsite shop has most things you may need, the Friday night visit from catering vans is brilliant, we especially enjoy the fish and chips van. People stick to the curfew so no noisy or rowdy behaviour after hours, all in all one of our favourite sites to visit when in the area (which is quite frequently)We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shay's farm for touring caravans or tents.
