Magical weekend celebrating my daughter’s wedding. Lisa and Sam could not have been more helpful. Lovely walks to the Shrewsbury inn and Edgerton Arms. Can’t wait for our next visit.

being a local site to us and noting it’s too 100 site awards and recommendation we gave shays farm a try for the bank holiday weekend.PositivesIt’s in a lovely setting, in a valley easily accessed with good approach roadLovely hot showers, clean well looked after facilitiesHelpful site warden (Sam?) Negatives Clearly several seasonal pitches which creates a clique feel to the site Dry weather has not helped the dust on the site, get a pitch further down the site passed the shower block, different gravel which removes dust issue - our caravan and car was coated in dust

This is a gem of a site. Pitches are great sizes, with plenty of room. The facilities are spotless. There’s a washing machine & drier & even a fridge to put your food & drink in if you don’t have one yourself.There is a large, secure field for your four legged friends to get a good run around.Also a little shop on site in case you forget any of those essentials! The staff are super friendly & so helpful. Oh and there’s a food truck on site on a Saturday evening (sometimes Fridays too) - varying weekly, from the best fish & chips to Italian, Indian, Caribbean etc. so if you want a night off from cooking, they have you covered! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Shay’s.

Visited Shays Farm many times and it’s always clean and tidy and well looked after. Staff are always really friendly and keep the facilities spotless.

Shays Farm is lovely, very well run by excellent staff

On our first stay at Shay's farm we were greeted by Lisa who made us feel welcome from the start,From our first impressions we noticed it was a very beautifully kept and quiet site and we looking forward to our stay.Our grass pitch was in a nice area with its own water point which is a bonus, no more lugging water. plus you were never far from the shower and toilet block with was one of the best I've seen, so clean and spotless.After setting up the tent we headed for a spot of fishing which was great, no fish though which was a shame.After that we headed to the local pub "Shrewsbury Arms" which was only a 5 minute walk along the sites private parh through a field which was an added bonus and well enjoyed, food was amazing.My son and I had a great stay here, real lad and dad bonding couple of days and will definitely stay again.

It’s the second time we’ve stayed at Shays and we have loved both times! This was our last stop on our adventures camping across the UK! It is always so very clean…gosh it’s fastidiously clean which is what we love-it shows the attention to detail! We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel at home as we got there. The site manager who lives on site is attentive, friendly, helpful and just a fab person! The family are hard working and again are so friendly and welcome…at one point we think it was the owner, was up a ladder (and was told off by others) watering plants and chatting to us! We cannot wait to come back…we are also saving for a small caravan and yours will definitely be our first place we come to with it! Thank you Shays xx

Lovely cleaned & looked after campsite, has all your needs from cleaning facilities, to hot showers & even washing machines & dryers, nice little play area if going with children and top field as well for football, toilets are very clean & showers are hot & powerful, nice little washing room where you can clean plates and what not along with clothes cleaning facilities too plus a fridge and freezer, staff are really lovely ‘ always willing to help if you need and I will always recommend shay’s farm as a top tier campsite
