Have stayed many times now. From a caravan to now a motorhome. The staff are amazing, helpful and friendly as always. The place is spotless. Will always return especially as its only a 10 minute drive away. Perfect for a peaceful getaway.

We stayed with a group of friends and we had the best time. The kids had an even better time. The pizza and fish and chips were a perfect touch. We will definitely be back.

The owners of this site provided really comprehensive information before arrival. We can highly recommend Hollies Farm nearby. The owners are relaxed but helpful, the site is really well maintained and clean. Pitches are spacious, each with it's own picnic table and carefully arranged close to amenities. A great stopover site or well positioned for exploring the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

I stayed with my son for two nights with our folding camper. They kindly fitted us in last minute and could not have been anymore accommodating. The facilities block was always clean and tidy with warm showers. I was comfortable enough to let my son go off around the site by himself make friends and play. The fishing lake was a lovely spot to spend an hour with a rod and watch the world go by. Will definitely be coming back again.

Brilliant little site. Friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities. We really enjoyed. Children’s play area looking slightly tired here and there but this didn’t stop anyone having fun whilst using. Over all 9/10, thank you!

Really nice site with excellent facilities. Well maintained and very friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend this site. Very good cafe, restaurant and farm shop about a mile from the site. Close enough to Chester if you want to visit it.

Spotless and relaxing

The site is really tucked away but with easy access and a short walk to a local pub.This site is kept very tidy with lively gardens.The toilet / shower block, although we never saw anyone cleaning it, it was always spotless. The showers are one of the best we have used.Staff extremely friendly and helpful. We would have no problem returning.

The camp site is very well laid out with all necessary amenities and hook ups. The toilet and shower block was very clean, easy to use and accessable, also next door to this is the washing up facility, the washing machine and fridge freezer. The whole site is extremely well maintained. We had a really good stay and will be camping there again soon. The site is a credit to the family run operation and we found them to be very friendly and helpful. There are good walks to be had in the surrounding countryside which is beautiful.

We chose Shays farm because it was the perfect location for the Kelsall Vintage Rally. Very quite, clean and tidy site, Toilet and shower block very clean 👌. Only thing it could do with, as it was very hot when we were there, is a bit more ventilation, Maybe?
