Nice quiet site

Shays farm is only a couple of miles from are houses but we were pleasantly surprised of how it feels like it is a million miles away as you get the feeling it is in the middle of the country side but with lots of immunity close by. So it’s going to be a quick last minute place for us to stay plus it great for dogs and kids and I can’t wait to try my luck at the fishing next time 😁👍

We love staying here always a warm welcome very clean and well looked after site and 5* communication always can’t wait to be back tomorrow

We initially booked a week at the site, but then extended the stay because we liked the area, the site wasn't huge, the facilities were great and the staff were very helpful.The only point to note is that are are no shops within walking distance....but there is a pub nearby that serves nice food ....... cheers 🍻

Another night in a beautifully maintained site with great super clean facilities. We booked and paid online which made life so easy, as we knew which pitch to settle on when we arrived. All the pitches are very big and flat with electric and Tv connections. We remembered to bring our TV cable this time! Easy access from the main road, follow the site signs!! Wandered along the field path from the site to The Shrewsbury Arms and had a lovely meal, take a good torch. We will be back, as we have family in the area, so perfect for a visit. Also walked along the lane ( about a mile or so) to visit "The Hollies", shopping experience, remember your credit card! The food looked great but prices were eye watering! Went to Northwich for an Indian meal by the canal, a short drive away. A nice town to have a wander in and of course Chester , not too far away. A lovely short stay.

Top class and spotless . Very handy for Oulton park

We had a great stay at Shays Farm and have enjoyed the same multiple times previously. There is a great dog walking field with plenty of space to throw a ball and loads of interesting sniffs, fully fenced in. The toilet block is always clean and warm, with plenty of hot water and decent pressure showers. On site there is a large playing field and small park for the younger visitors, but we do not use them, just thought it worthwhile mentioning them. Close enough to the Shrewsbury Arms, but just far enough that you earn your pint, the food there is really good and always a friendly welcome to humans and dogs alike.

We have stayed a few times the site is spotless including showers toilets etc staff are more than helpful we even got a lift to a wedding which was very nice as we don’t know the area very well thankyou so much

Very friendly, clean, well organised campsite. From booking to leaving was an excellent experience and would definitely stay again.

Very accommodating. My wife has a broken ankle and they moved us to the pitch right next to the disabled toilet and shower which were excellent.
