The site surpassed my expectations, anpr entry and then greeted by the lovely lady with her dog, amazing sea views, immaculate facilities with super big showers and great motorhome service point, lovely walks in the area particularly the one to over strand which has a fantastic cafe, honestly if only all sites were like this, although we probably wouldn't appreciate them would we. Will definitely be returning. 10/10

Great staff very clean site 👌 good pub and food

Lovely quiet site overlooking the sea, Had a very warm welcome from Christine who came and found us as soon as we arrived and gave us a welcome pack with gift ! Amenities were very clean but could have been a bit warmer and could be busy when site is full ? ( 3 showers 4 toilets) , Bit of a walk into Mundesley but not their fault ! Buses close to site entrance running hourly to North Walsham or Cromer for further buses for around the coast. Thoroughly enjoyed our good value four night stay and wish we’d found it sooner and look forward to going again soon !

Brilliant site so convenient to walk down to a great beach for the dogs to play. Great amenities. Pitches are a great size n well looked after. We were given a welcome pack with loads of info & treats for the dogs. Will defo return.

Such a lovely place to visit showers fantastic lovely and clean friendly staff

Stayed on Pitch no: 3, in fairness we knew that the pitches were not level so had brought our big Milenco Ramps. We headed to our pitch and it was very slopy, declining from the back of the pitch down to the road. We reversed onto the pitch and then drove onto our Ramps. We were still on a slope but after asking for another pitch and being told there was none available we settled into the holiday. The toilets and showers were always immaculately clean. We had a day in Cromer and then walked to Mundesley. There is also access from the site directly to the beach. We could see the sea from our pitch which was lovely.The warden, Christine was very nice and friendly. On departure when trying to reverse off the ramps our ramps both exploded onto the road like wedge shaped rockets from under the wheels as my husband was trying to reverse off them.One hit my foot causing damage. It was a nasty accident. The warden (fireman) came to our assistance with 1st Aid & ice. Thanks for your hel

This campsite has a perfect sea view position and it is only a brisk 7 minute walk down to Trimmington beach.The campsite toilet/showers are the cleanest and best kept I’ve ever come across in my many years of camping. Although only 3 cubicles in each of the ladies and gents, they are never busy and are very large. You have the choice of a fixed and flexible shower heads in each cubicle. Christine who greets you when you arrive is lovely and friendly and gives you a pack of information about what’s going on in the local area.

Positives- Great location with views across the sea and easy access to the beach- Very friendly owner- Probably the best wi-fi of any site we have stayed on- Immaculately clean and well looked after site- Very peaceful- Good bus service into CromerNegatives- Most pitches are very sloping needing blocks / chocks / levelling. The site has spent money to put in the road and the gravel for the pitches and it is a shame they didn't make the extra effort to level the pitches at the same time. Getting the caravan level was a challenge, and the awning was very uneven front to back due to the slope.- The grey waste disposals have a lip around them which makes emptying difficult- From the pitches at the lower end of the site, it is almost 1/4 mile round trip (measured with Strava) to the toilet block which is actually situated in the static caravan park. Not at all fun in the rain. For this reason alone, I wouldn't return to the site.

Lovely campsite, fantastic location right on the cliff top with good access to the beach. Facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean, a little walk from the touring field but that is a small price to pay. Staff very friendly and willing to help. Mundesley is lovely unspoilt little village. This was our third visit to Sandy Gulls and hopefully we will get back there soon.
