We took our tourer to Sands of Luce for the easter holidays. We had a great time. The site is immaculate, big spaces for tourers and fully serviced. The toilet block is spotless and the showers are pretty good. There are laundry facilities which are very reasonably priced and easy to use. The lighthouse bar/restaurant is fantastic. There is plenty of stuff put on for the kids. The food is really good, it is all fresh and REALLY good, that really exceeded my expectations. Theres also a stable on site where the kids got to ride a horse and got up close with other animals and shetland ponies. The staff in the stables and the bar were very friendly. Also for families with young kids there is plenty of tarmac for scooters!! And the site is right on the beach. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting :-)

I have been touring for 12 years and I could honestly say this is is near to if not the top site I have visited. Lots of sites get lots right. Sands of Luce seem to tick all the boxes from lovely informative staff at reception lovely clean bar area lovely clean site, the shower toilet block wash facility also the chemical waste area. Even the rubbish disposal area or should I say recycling area was well thought out and tidy. Small walk to village and lovely bar restaurant Tigh na mar do a lovely meal . Visited mull of galloway lighthouse and logan fish pond Portpatrick Culzean castle. Daughter loved her morning at the pony experience which is at the site. So Sands of Luce keep up the good work sorry I could not help to improve but I honestly could not fault your site. Hope to be back soon.

We had a very positive experience at Sands of Luce. Great sized pitch, fantastic location, great facilities. Very helpful staff on our arrival; every one, staff, and others staying very friendly. We would highly recommend a visit.

Staff excellent, especially Lauren . She is a great assest to the buiness.Wider team also demonstrated great customer service and happy in their job.

No food in the bar during the week- even although the bar was packed and it was school holiday Great business for the local pub - but that was so overwhelmed it took a long time to be served. Seems like madness turning away all that business

Caravan spotless and great size. We were very impressed with our accomadation.Site area also very clean and well kept.We loved this site due to how close the beach is.All owners appeared very nice and friendly.

Had a brill pitch, lovely staff, lovely views of beach. Fantastic atmosphere in the lighthouse bar. All facilities were clean. The only con was the shower it wasn't warm enough to have a good shower. The shower head was ro high up and by the time the water hit you it was cold. It felt like a mist.

Absolutely gorgeous location, with our caravan looking right onto the beach. The toilets and showers were spotless and the lighthouse bar was fab food! Definitely be returning!

Only used as Touring stop over one night but great place very quiet clean and super wash rooms and facilities. Touring area nicely situated out of the mobile home units. Nice bar and meal area with outside covered seating, lovely beach walk into small village with good hotel for meals.
