The touring part of the site is through a holiday park - beware the speed bumps! The time of the year we were there was out of the main season so the whole site was quite quiet. Might be a better experience when it's busier.Toilet and laundry facilities were excellent. And the pitches are a good size for our small camper and would fit the bigger motorhomes comfortably as well

Recommended by friends and was not disappointed......the beach is sandy and very long...the dog loved it. All pitches are level and have a view of the sea.....Have booked again for July....

We have never visited the area before, we loved it! Logan Botanical Gardens and Glenwhan garden were equally magnificent.We explored the coast, up to the lighthouse at the Mull of Galloway. Most impressive. There is more that we want to see. We will return. The site was ideally situated. We very nearly went for a swim. Super beach.

This is our 4th visit to Sands of Luce. We stayed in a rental. The caravans are outstanding. Brand new this year. Extremely comfortable, well equipped and spotless. We loved it. The long beach is right on your doorstep where you can enjoy a lovely walk.

We tour areas in our motorhome, rarely staying in 1 place more than 1 night. Sometimes we use campsites but mostly we go off grid. This park was recommended to us on a motorhome app called "searchforsites" and it wouldn't normally be somewhere we'd choose to stay, however you're never too old to learn.The motorhome/caravan pitches are excellent. Hard standing, electric hook up, water and grey waste and all facing the ocean. The shower and toilet block are second to none, modern and exceptionally clean and Covid safe. They are the best we've seen.We stayed 2 nights and relaxed fully with the huge beach and ocean in front of us.We will return.

Beautiful caravan. Excellent location, 5 minutes walk to the beach. Spotless caravan with everything needed. Dog friendly.Peaceful, friendly site. Will definitely return.Only disappointed is that during our stay the restaurant wasn’t open/serving food. We would have eaten there if available or taken food away.

We have been to Sands of Luce a few times and love it, and will continue to keep coming back. The only thing that would improve the site would be a small swimming pool and gym. We love the site and love the pub and have never had any problems.

This was our first stay on a managed site with the Motorhome. The booking was easy and professionally handled, even though I changed the dates. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady, who made the whole process really simple.The site is clean and tidy and perfectly located for access to the beech and surrounding areas. We cycled to Stranraer and Portpatrick and there are lovely cross country routes.I would highly recommend this site and will definitely return at some point, although the majority of our travel is overseas.

Fantastic site, quick friendly check-in, managed to get a beachfront pitch, fully serviced spacious pitch. Toilet and laundry facilities modern and spotlessly clean. Great to see proper recycling. Handy beach access from touring pitches which we enjoyed walks, within walking distance to Sandhead. Which has a well equipped shop and the Tigh na mar Hotel which serves fantastic food. We also went for drinks to the on-site Lighthouse Bar with a lovely outside area, where you can watch the Alpacas and ponies
