We arrived to check in and nobody was expecting us. Barrier was closed at main entrance and had to go hunting as to how to get in. After the main gate there was another key code required to get to the pitches which wasn’t supplied to me in any of the confirmation emails. Finally found some one who worked there who said he wasn’t expecting anyone today but eventually did find our booking. He supplied me with the code to the pitches. We we the only people staying yet when I went to use the shower which was supposed to be for residents only it was locked and in use by someone. Nice situation at the lake. It is close to the village but I’m sorry there’s not much in it. People in the pub and hotel were very nice and friendly. No chemical wasteThe grey water disposal is totally a waste of time where it is located. I had no idea how they expected a large motor home to manoeuvre in to it. The had built a nice sitting room/kitchen area at the lake side. I had no idea how to get in.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A very pleasant helpful Warden. The only complaint we have as motorhomers is the lack of large drain to empty our grey water tank. My husband had a long hose which he attached to the MH and hydraulic levellers which raised our Motorhome and drained our tank into the small drain suitable for caravanners. We stayed 2 nights and will be back. Town within walking district. Good butchers, lovely Hotel and boutiques. Golf course and restaurant within driving distance. A little Haven !!!
Had great bank holiday stay. Warden Paddy very helpful and friendly, with just 8 pitch’s nice and quiet and good size with water and ehu
We had reason to stay for 1 night only. The booking was easy and the site is close to the town. Well serviced, and clean..will be back..
Excellent site with useful facilities. We really enjoyed our stay and Patrick - who maintained the area, was kind, respectful and knowledgeable, lovely to talk to. All very good!
Lovely area, and not far from Enniskillen, the only issue we found on-site was the shower room external door can not be locked when in use and is open to the public in general and with the present day situation especially the ladies toilet and shower facilities could be vulnerable to those not registered on the site. Lovely walk around the lake and a short distance to the town centre (Fivemiletown) and Valley Hotel.
This is an excellent little spot to stop and chill out. It is a really well laid out site with toilets bins and a kitchen. Pity there wasn't any shower facilities but not a big issue if only for one night. Short walk into town with plenty of pubs and restaurants. Very secure and very quiet at night. Highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
Lovely site with very large pitches. Electric hook up and water at each pitch with drinking water over at the facilities block. Very nice easily accessible walk around the lake and also a lovely building at the lake itself where you can sit inside and enjoy the view. It's a bit unusual that the shower facilities and " campers kitchen " ( really just a fridge / freezer and sink ....no cooking facilities) is over in this building and not within the campsite itself. I believe this building is locked at 4pm which may be awkward if you'd stored food for an evening meal in the fridge freezer. Would be handy if there was a way to make this building accessible to campsite users until later in the evening.. Site very close to Fivemiletown ( approx 5 mins walk ) Cafes/ shops / pubs a hotel and restaurants situated here . Would highly recommend
This was our first time staying at Round Lake. It is a peaceful, clean site and the staff member we encountered was so friendly. There is a lovely walk around the lake enjoyed by campers and locals. It is a very short walk in Fivemiletown which has lovely shops and good places to eat. Also Blessingbourne estate is right outside with it's mountain bike trails.Pity the waste water dump is not available for motorhomes or campervans
