Nice for walks by the site itself is absolutely immaculate from grass to toilets and showers we had a fantastic few days and less than 20mins away is the small town of Bentham which has all you need for food and beer. Will be visiting again next year for sure

I have been coming to riverside 20 or so years I have never been disappointed,every visit is perfect.The toilet shower block is always warm and clean and with the added bonus of tunes being piped in .Just a short walk away from riverside there is Bentham village which has to pubs both are great for atmosphere and the food is great.

It's very convenient for myself in particular as I have family living in Bentham, so am a regular visitor.

This site is by far about the best we have ever stayed at in England, everything is immaculate, the grass pitch next to the river was just perfect. The facilities are second to non shower and toilet block spotless, 2 hairdryers, separate washing cubicles, there is a utility room with really hot water for washing up, laundrette, for longer stays, family shower room, even a dog bath and a machine to empty and clean your cassete from the toilet, a bargain at £2, never seen one of those before! The information room is well stocked and also has books and jigsaws to loan. There is a lovely riverside walk directly from the site down to Low Bentham and back, and it is not far to walk up into High Bentham, with shops, pubs and a Coop and Spar. The fishing pond at the end of the site is well maintained and nice for a walk and a sit on the benches, even if you are not fishing. The receptionist was very friendly and even changed our pitch to one next to the river. We will be back !

A nice site with mixed statics, seasonal, fully serviced and hard standings or grass so suits most styles. The washrooms were spotless, staff friendly and helpful. There is an excellent fishing lake on site and an elevated play area for children. The town is only a few minutes walk away and has a CoOp, greengrocers, pub and a brilliant bakery plus more. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are some lovely towns and villages to explore. We will be back as we really enjoyed our stay.

Stopped at riverside the other weekend, spotlessly clean as ever, shower block is excellent and all the staff are very pleasant, site well placed for days out if need be

One of the cleanest sites we have been to and very friendly We would highly recommend this site Lovely walk into the village with local pubs selling a wide selection of foodLocal shops too if you need to stock up on groceries

Location beautiful, clean , modern shower/toilet facilities. Perfect , relaxing atmosphere Railway station 10 minutes walk was ideal for venturing further away for a day.Lovely riverside walks to next village.We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return
