We stayed for a week at Riverside and it was lovely we have already booked to stay again .The staff were so friendly and helpful and the site is absolutely spotless the washing machines and dryers were so handy to have there too . I would highly recommend staying at Riverside it's a beautiful site and so close to going into Hawick.We loved it and we will be going back regularly now we know it is there.

We live one and a half miles away and were getting our bathroom renovated so decided to move out of house to let tradesmen get on with the work. Passed the site many times but never been in it until now . Pleasantly surprised at the number of caravans.Our caravan, number 34, was in immaculate condition and was suppled with everything one could need. The bedrooms were on the small side but had plenty of storage space. Wi Fi was a bit iffy. Overall an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Highly recommend this site, toilets spotless pitches were excellent too, added bonus of the pizza van which was delicious, would definitely return, well run site, well done to everyone involved

Great site nice people but too close to main road for me

We had the best time at the caravan park. Facilities were lovely and clean, close to the pitches as was the chemical disposal. Great size pitches with plenty space between them. Very peaceful even though it was busy, will definitely be back, thank you!

We only spent one night here in order to try out our motorhome, recently acquired. We had a very pleasant walk along the Teviot Water towards Denholm, then, as indicated by the site manager, climbed away from the river along local roads, bringing us back eventually to the site. Some traffic noise as the touring area is near the road, but otherwise an enjoyable stay. The free range hens provided some entertainment.

It’s a personal thing, we like a hard standing pitch but a lot of grass, the pitches were actually very high quality electric water and drainage for each pitch, and possibly the best hard standing we’ve ever had, perfectly level and took a peg well, it was just a bit car parky for us. There is road noise but it’s not a problem. The toilets were warm and clean, the showers could do with a little longer on time but as the room is warm it’s not a big deal. Toilets were always clean, but the seats could do with tightening. Chickens were a nice touch! We generally don’t go to the same place twice, would I recommend? On the whole yes, for a couple of nights in a motor home (we have a touring caravan) absolutely, nice site, easy access friendly staff, great base to visit the boarders. Only 8 touring pitches, so it’s quiet if that’s your thing.
