Nice facility, friendly staff and excellent Pizza

Good facilities and clean campsite. Friendly and informative staff. Very nice riverside walk into Hawick but if you preferred not to walk there is a convenient busy stop right outside the campsite. Many visitor attractions within very short driving distances.

It was all fine.

From arriving we were greeted with Lynsey who was lovely, friendly and I thought it was amazing when she showed us our pitch on the CCTV, which put my mind at rest at how secure the site is. The onsite pizzas were amazing and Lynsey advised it was family run by the site which I thought was a lovely touch, but the absolute highlight of the trip was the chickens and Cockerel they are so friendly and entertaining, although our dog was terrified of them, which I think they sensed it made for great entertainment. The site is located in a beautiful area with a forest walk close by which takes you to Hawick, our 9 year old wasn't bored on the slightest and cried the day we had to come home. This is definitely one of our favorite places and somewhere we will defo return to.

Good location close to town and next to a very busy road although the site had a quiet relaxed feel. Well set out and cared for site. Friendly and helpful staff and good clean facilities. 'Adventurous' riverside walks on the opposite bank.

Good location for walks into Hawick and denholm. Site is well kept good pitch and facility’s and the staff are really helpful. Will be returning

We are new to this but had a lovely time in thee tent,espite the cold weather

Very handy as we were looking for a house in the borders, was easy to get to all viewings.Very clean nicely situated near the riverSuper pizza's made by the managers.Well equipt caravan, we have astatic home in West SussexFor us it was a shame there was no coffee machine, we come from The Netherlands and the TV didn't always give a good picture, maybe check out he position of the antenne. Great that we could Bring our dogs All in all lovely stay.

Great choice for us for our visit taking in our love of music and venues in Denholm Kelso and Kirk Yetholm and the "hosts" were attentive when requested... nice walking area for our wee King Charles too she loved it ... we would return
