Very clean and tidy amenities and friendly staff.

Riverside is a perfectly good caravan site but set too close to a very busy road for our liking the wardens are both helpful and informative and the site is adequate showers were good and always loads of piping hot water there are good dog walks also the only thing that spoiled our stay was the noisy road some people didn't mind it and have been returning for years but for us it was a spoiler Sorry

The site itself is really nice. Good to walk around on a evening. The toilet block was kept clean and the site is tidy and clean . There's chalets and static caravans on the site too with about 6 hard standings for tourers. There's a pizza van there on a Monday evening which serves up fantastic pizzas. Although it's beside the river you can't actually get down to it which was a shame. There's a river walk you can get onto from the other side which is quite steep in places....not good if you don't like heights. The only downside for us was the noise from the main road that runs right along beside the site. No quiet time really.

Staff are very helpful and the site and amenities are clean. Campground is handy as a base from where to explore walking trails from

We had a good stop here, the facilities are up to date , clean and suitable for a wheelchair user which was beneficial to us. Sadly the road noise was not good for sleeping! The supermarkets were near so we could get provisions which was brilliant. The site was lovely x.

Really nice flat touring pitches, fully serviced and picnic table on pitch. Pizza truck on site was excellent and nice dog walks. Staff lovely. Only issue for me was free range chickens. Lovely to see but I have a hunting dog! Dog was well restrained but I was nervous.

We had a Motorhome on this site and it was very well setup with fresh water and grey water drain on the pitch. The chemical toilet disposal was convenient and flushed. Great to meet all the free range chickens and buy eggs from reception. With a very helpful and friendly owner we throughly enjoyed our stay walking along the river to Hawick and visiting the abbey towns of Jedburgh and Melrose.

Great site spotless good shower facility's , fantastic river walks , very welcoming staff .

Lovely site with very friendly and helpful staff. Toilet/shower blocks good and clean and a good shower. An extra bonus was the pizza truck open Monday and Friday evenings, very tasty pizzas.Lovely walk along the river to Hawick.Our only issue, and this is only because we own a highly charged Springer Spaniel was the free range chickens. Could not fully relax as our dog had her eyes on the flock 😂Will definitely come back!
