Rhosson Ganol caravan and camping site is run by David Griffiths and his wife Kate and David's father Henry. David and Kate have three children, Elin, Lili and Ioan.
The Griffiths family have farmed Rhosson Ganol since 1882 when David's Great Grandfather John Griffiths took on the tenancy at the age of 24 after working on Ramsey Island. David's Grand Parents Ivor and Ivy Griffiths bought the two farms Rhosson Isaf and Rhosson Ganol in 1936/1948 and opened up a field for camping in 1951.
David's Father Henry got planning permission for the static caravan site in 1961. Rhosson Ganol is a working farm and has a suckler beef herd of Limousin and Hereford cattle.
We have 40 grass pitches for touring caravans, camper vans and tents.
We have 20 electric hookups (10 amp) which require early booking to avoid disappointment. These pitches also include your own drinking water supply (two night minimum stay on these pitches).
We have free wifi, and a chemical disposal point on site.
We are open from Easter to October half term.
A superb location for caravan holidays in Pembrokeshire
We are a small, quiet, family oriented site, so we don't take bookings from large youth groups. We also ask for your arrival before 8pm. We don't allow camp fires but are happy with BBQ's. We are a dog friendly campsite in Pembrokeshire, but require dogs to be under control at all times.

Not happy with this campsite. There was nobody available to explain anything or point us to our pitch. Instructions for water & power were given to us by our neighbours. Half of our pitch was occupied by the campers next door. THERE IS NO GREY WASTE DISPOSAL facility for motorhomes here, despite signs to the contrary, we were told to tip our grey waste onto the ground. Every space was rammed full. The best part was the view, which I paid a premium for. There were only 2 women's showers for a site made up predominantly of tents and nearly 50 pitches. You could see the facilities had been recently redecorated, but the bathroom was dirty. I would not recommend this site to other motorhomes.
David and Henry are always so welcoming - nothing is too much trouble if you need to ask for anything. We find the site has everything we want and need - generally quiet, plenty of space, good clean facilities and the most beautiful views over Ramsey Sound. You might even have the excitement of a lifeboat launch at St Justinian's as happened during our stay. I cannot speak highly enough of this site and am at a loss as to how David and Kate keep the site so clean, quiet and orderly when there are literally no notices at all telling you what to do and what not to do! It is so relaxing here. Our absolute favourite site and one we will keep returning to.
Rhosson campsite is quite a nice and remote place to stay. The busstop being nearby is a plus. The toilets and showers were excellent and clean. I would stay here again!
We had a lovely four nights at Rhosson Ganol. The site was clean and quiet with beautiful views over Ramsey Sound and access straight onto the coastal path. Facilities were spotless and high quality. Would definitely stay again. The surrounding area is spectacular.
I initially stayed here on a solo holiday in 2022, but absolutely fell in love with the place so upon return, recommended to everyone I knew. It was my sisters birthday this year, and she asked for suggestions for camping and I immediately suggested this place. Everyone that came with us could not believe how stunning and picturesque the view is, how friendly all the visitors were, and how amazingly kept the facilities were. Honestly, I don't think I'd stay anywhere else if coming to Pembrokeshire - 100000/10 <3
Beautiful views, lovely walks, great pubs, overall just a fabulous place to visit.
Peace and tranquility, broken only by sounds of nature with stunning views of Ramsey Island, surrounded by turquoise sea. As far removed from club houses and theme parks as you could find. Perfect 🥰
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rhosson Ganol. We drove in to beautiful sunshine and the stunning views of Ramsey Island. The pitch was easy to locate and well maintained, as was the whole site.Facilities are clean, modern, and warm with everyone needed for a comfortable stay with our 2-year-old daughter. The site is very well located for exploring the surrounding area and those previously mentioned views! We loved it. It may well become our annual family holiday destination.
This is a lovely campsite with beautiful views over of the sea and Ramsey Island. The sunsets are sublime!
