Rhosson Ganol caravan and camping site is run by David Griffiths and his wife Kate and David's father Henry. David and Kate have three children, Elin, Lili and Ioan.
The Griffiths family have farmed Rhosson Ganol since 1882 when David's Great Grandfather John Griffiths took on the tenancy at the age of 24 after working on Ramsey Island. David's Grand Parents Ivor and Ivy Griffiths bought the two farms Rhosson Isaf and Rhosson Ganol in 1936/1948 and opened up a field for camping in 1951.
David's Father Henry got planning permission for the static caravan site in 1961. Rhosson Ganol is a working farm and has a suckler beef herd of Limousin and Hereford cattle.
We have 40 grass pitches for touring caravans, camper vans and tents.
We have 20 electric hookups (10 amp) which require early booking to avoid disappointment. These pitches also include your own drinking water supply (two night minimum stay on these pitches).
We have free wifi, and a chemical disposal point on site.
We are open from Easter to October half term.
A superb location for caravan holidays in Pembrokeshire
We are a small, quiet, family oriented site, so we don't take bookings from large youth groups. We also ask for your arrival before 8pm. We don't allow camp fires but are happy with BBQ's. We are a dog friendly campsite in Pembrokeshire, but require dogs to be under control at all times.

Facilities such as loos, showers and washing up are now as good as Continental sites. Have been camping here for over 70 years, toilets used to be grim. Great views, but very exposed to weather, quiet out of season, dog loved it, easy access to coastal path and adjacent beaches.
We loved our stay at Rhosson Ganol - an amazing location with views over Ramsey Island. We liked that it was so laid back - and you are very much left to your own devices. The new toilet block is great, very clean, lots of hot water in the showers - our only issue was that the block was so far away from the site. It’s also great that it’s so close to the coastal walkOverall a great stay - despite the wind and rain!
Wonderful location with views over to Ramsay Island. Peaceful, relaxed site. Very good free hot showers. Facilities are a very long walk from the pitches. Most visitors seemed to either drive to toilet block or have their own toilet tent. Would be helpful to know this on booking. Great access to coastal path. Short drive to St David's with lovely shops, cafes and the impressive cathedral.
Gorgeous views and nice facilities, this is a great campsite with lots of open space.
It is the third time of staying at this lovely campsite for us. Just lovely to return and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and continue exploring this part of Pembrokeshire. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else ! The new showers/loos were wonderful. It was good having somewhere to store ice packs too. Looking forward to returning.
Campsite is very quiet facilities are good. The views are stunning and the sunsets are great
Fantastic location overlooking Ramsey Island, great shower facilities, very convenient water and electric at our pitch, staff helpful, well kept site, couldn't beat it, we'll definitely be back again. Great coastal walking just by the site, St Justinian's lifeboat station just nearby, ice-cream and drinks kiosk there in season handy for those hot days! Short drive to St David's and all the cafes, pubs, shops etc there, has everything you need. Loads of wildlife too, seals, dolphins, badgers, rabbits, etc, all great to see.
Upon arrival we drove around looking for someone to greet us and give directions/instructions as to where our pitch was. We found a lovely couple staying on the campsite and informed us there was a notice board at the road where you drive into the field and explained our pitch would be shown on there in bottom right corner. This was not explained at any point of booking. We found our pitch number and it had a little yellow tag confirming it was ours. We put our tent up then went to look for the showers and toilets - again, not clearly signposted. Just next to them was a tiny office with a note on the door saying open between 09:30 and 10:30. Again when you're arrival time has to be after 11:00 that really isn't helpful! We then went to use the toilets and showers. They were disgusting. Clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while, nor were they cleaned the whole time of our stay (2 nights/3 days) which in turn attracted flies - there were loads everywhere. Really spoilt our stay there.
Enjoyed 2 night stay at Rhosson Ganol. Views were spectacular!. Toilet very clean . We stayed at the beginning of Sept. Weather was spectacular and very few children on site as I’m sure they were preparing to go back to school. Lovely walks along the cliff top paths with amazing views. So peaceful. I’m really looking forward to returning next year!
A brilliant campsite with a view!Facilities are brilliant, some of the best I've experienced using campsites. The ease of arriving, even out of arrival hours as I arrived late. It was clear where I was going and what the campsite provides. A very simple visit, with a stunning view.
