Rhosson Ganol caravan and camping site is run by David Griffiths and his wife Kate and David's father Henry. David and Kate have three children, Elin, Lili and Ioan.
The Griffiths family have farmed Rhosson Ganol since 1882 when David's Great Grandfather John Griffiths took on the tenancy at the age of 24 after working on Ramsey Island. David's Grand Parents Ivor and Ivy Griffiths bought the two farms Rhosson Isaf and Rhosson Ganol in 1936/1948 and opened up a field for camping in 1951.
David's Father Henry got planning permission for the static caravan site in 1961. Rhosson Ganol is a working farm and has a suckler beef herd of Limousin and Hereford cattle.
We have 40 grass pitches for touring caravans, camper vans and tents.
We have 20 electric hookups (10 amp) which require early booking to avoid disappointment. These pitches also include your own drinking water supply (two night minimum stay on these pitches).
We have free wifi, and a chemical disposal point on site.
We are open from Easter to October half term.
A superb location for caravan holidays in Pembrokeshire
We are a small, quiet, family oriented site, so we don't take bookings from large youth groups. We also ask for your arrival before 8pm. We don't allow camp fires but are happy with BBQ's. We are a dog friendly campsite in Pembrokeshire, but require dogs to be under control at all times.
Pitches with electric hookups (10 amp). These pitches also include your own drinking water supply.

Campsite is very quiet facilities are good. The views are stunning and the sunsets are great
Fantastic location overlooking Ramsey Island, great shower facilities, very convenient water and electric at our pitch, staff helpful, well kept site, couldn't beat it, we'll definitely be back again. Great coastal walking just by the site, St Justinian's lifeboat station just nearby, ice-cream and drinks kiosk there in season handy for those hot days! Short drive to St David's and all the cafes, pubs, shops etc there, has everything you need. Loads of wildlife too, seals, dolphins, badgers, rabbits, etc, all great to see.
Upon arrival we drove around looking for someone to greet us and give directions/instructions as to where our pitch was. We found a lovely couple staying on the campsite and informed us there was a notice board at the road where you drive into the field and explained our pitch would be shown on there in bottom right corner. This was not explained at any point of booking. We found our pitch number and it had a little yellow tag confirming it was ours. We put our tent up then went to look for the showers and toilets - again, not clearly signposted. Just next to them was a tiny office with a note on the door saying open between 09:30 and 10:30. Again when you're arrival time has to be after 11:00 that really isn't helpful! We then went to use the toilets and showers. They were disgusting. Clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while, nor were they cleaned the whole time of our stay (2 nights/3 days) which in turn attracted flies - there were loads everywhere. Really spoilt our stay there.
Enjoyed 2 night stay at Rhosson Ganol. Views were spectacular!. Toilet very clean . We stayed at the beginning of Sept. Weather was spectacular and very few children on site as I’m sure they were preparing to go back to school. Lovely walks along the cliff top paths with amazing views. So peaceful. I’m really looking forward to returning next year!
A brilliant campsite with a view!Facilities are brilliant, some of the best I've experienced using campsites. The ease of arriving, even out of arrival hours as I arrived late. It was clear where I was going and what the campsite provides. A very simple visit, with a stunning view.
A really great stay with a beautiful pitch over looking the water. Also in a generally quiet area of the site which was greatly appreciated. The toilet, shower, washing up block was well appointed, but it would be greatly improved if properly cleaned more regularly- not a major problem but it's clear it won't last long in it's current nice state if it is not cared for more regularly- you only have to look at the think dust along the top of the tile's to know it needs a little more care. With the busy turn over of the site in peak season I would have thought there might be capacity and certainly need for someone to be there to over see this a couple of times a day.Over all a great stay!Thank you.
Beautiful view and spacious pitches. Easy arrivals process. Bathroom / shower facilities quite limited in number and could benefit from more regular cleaning for the price paid for pitch.
This campsite has one of the best locations in the country. But that means other things aren’t well managed. There is nobody on site if anything goes wrong, and no mobile signal to call anyone. The facilities are new but won’t stay nice if the current cleaning regime persists - superficially clean but no attention to detail - corners, walls etc. The rubbish is chaotic- no recycling system apart from glass. Beautiful place, poorly managed.
Didn’t know which pitch was ours , lucky another camp buddy helped us out , when I did find our pitch there was already some man and his daughters pitching a tent on it when I explained to him about how to find out which pitch was his, he had already got most of his tent up 🙈. The toilets and shower were quite a way from the pitch but very clean and tidy, no WiFi even though was advertised and no signal on phones . But wasn’t a bad thing. Over all a lovely camp site
This campsite was our family’s favorite in the late 90’s and 2000’s and I hadn’t been in almost 20 years. We loved the new toilet and shower facilities, especially the family room to take my toddler into for a shower. Very clean facilities and nice size pitches. Good info on the arrivals board and Wi-Fi worked well.
