Rhosson Ganol caravan and camping site is run by David Griffiths and his wife Kate and David's father Henry. David and Kate have three children, Elin, Lili and Ioan.
The Griffiths family have farmed Rhosson Ganol since 1882 when David's Great Grandfather John Griffiths took on the tenancy at the age of 24 after working on Ramsey Island. David's Grand Parents Ivor and Ivy Griffiths bought the two farms Rhosson Isaf and Rhosson Ganol in 1936/1948 and opened up a field for camping in 1951.
David's Father Henry got planning permission for the static caravan site in 1961. Rhosson Ganol is a working farm and has a suckler beef herd of Limousin and Hereford cattle.
We have 40 grass pitches for touring caravans, camper vans and tents.
We have 20 electric hookups (10 amp) which require early booking to avoid disappointment. These pitches also include your own drinking water supply (two night minimum stay on these pitches).
We have free wifi, and a chemical disposal point on site.
We are open from Easter to October half term.
A superb location for caravan holidays in Pembrokeshire
We are a small, quiet, family oriented site, so we don't take bookings from large youth groups. We also ask for your arrival before 8pm. We don't allow camp fires but are happy with BBQ's. We are a dog friendly campsite in Pembrokeshire, but require dogs to be under control at all times.

There were no playground for our childreen.Toilets were ok, but sometimes, there was no toiletpaper. It was more expensive as other grounds we stayed
Toilet and bathroom was clean. View from the campsite was phenomenal. We stayed on a campsite with both electricity and water so it was easy for cooking and cleaning. Overall it was a good experience and felt like real camping.
We arrived after booking our pitch complete with EHU through Hipcamp, to find we had not been allocated one with EHU. This was a miscommunication between Hipcamp and Rhosson Ganol and luckily the manager had shared his mobile number and i was able to send my receipt to him, after which he reallocated us to an EHU pitch fairly quickly. We were disappointed that there was no internet despite it being mentioned and also, why was a wifi code offered when there was no internet? The loo block was good quality, although across the road from the site. Overall, we'd rate the site 6 out of 10. Thanks.
Great place and location
We had a great time at Rhosson Ganol campsite, Mr Griffiths was helpful and courteous when we had a problem ( our own fault )If I were to comment further I would say that more toilet/shower facilities would be an advantage but I understand that could be difficult in the circumstances.
We have visited Rhosson Ganol many times over the last 12 years.. its a beautiful , well maintained campsite .....disappointing that some dog owners don't always dispose of their dogs poo though !
Absolutely beautiful views. Great space & able to accommodate 34 of us with space for more. Facilities were a short walk away, would have liked them to be a little closer but only because we had lots of children from ages 1yr up so by the time we had taken one & got back another wanted to go! Good & kept clean. Little difficult to get hold of the owners if you needed them. All in all was a lovely spot & would probably camp there again.
Very satisfied with toilets Very satisfied with the bus to town
The atmosphere was very relaxing, very little noise, no fuss .could do with a small store/shop even for a couple of hours a day for milk. sugar ,or if you run out of coffee.
Lovely location, spacious campsite with decent facilities and plenty of hot water. Beautiful views out to Ramsey Island and it was amazing to watch the sun setting over the sea. Bikes are useful, especially to get delicious pizzas from the neighbouring campsite and to get to the loo. Great place for wildlife, there were lots of swifts and house martins nesting on the site. The local lifeboat is just down the road and you are straight onto the coastal path for walks in either direction, white sand bay isn’t far (no dogs allowed here) but the first beach we came to allowed dogs and was a great spot for paddle boarders. We will definitely go back.
