A calm haven with a beautiful view. The laundrette was super handy & easy to use too!

Birch lodge is on the Resipole Holidays site . The lodge has everything you need! Well equipped kitchen cosy lounge and bedrooms. Good bathroom. Plenary of storage space. The location is perfect- remote beautiful countryside right next to Loch Sunart with its own launch area. The wildlife around this area can’t be beaten- Seabirds including white tailed eagles Ducks Geese waders etc. Deer. Pine Martins Otters. There are great walks in the hills. Have been several times and will return

A marvelous location very close to Loch Sunart in a part of the U K that is unspoilt and unlike the rest of this overcrowded kingdom ( particularly England) one can find that the vast majority of places enjoy complete silence and tranquilityThere are walks nearby bordered by a profusion of wild flowers and the hide down the road offers sightings of seals and many different sea birdsHawthorn Lodge is well equipped ,well maintained and very comfortable. And I would envisage warm throughout the year as it is well insulatedThe adjacent art gallery is a delight

We have enjoyed visiting the area for many years and hopefully in our retirement will continue to do so. The chalet was very warm and comfortable. Access to the slipway was easily made, with nice short walks around the site and up towards resipole.

Our first visit of the year, we’ve been coming to Resipole for over 25 years……… and if that doesn’t explain things, stop reading this review lol.Peace perfect peace, time stretches and there’s no rush to do anything. Or you can Jam Pack your stay with wildlife, visiting tearooms after lovely walks, or a trip to your own secluded beach. Take a train trip or boat ride. We took a guided tour of The Ardnamurchan Distillery ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and I don’t like whisky.We stayed in Birch Lodge, cosy so well equipped with everything you need or forget to pack. The beds are so comfy.

Been going to Resipole for xx years.Glad to see you can still have a lodge ,. thats open all year. It a fantastic area to seeJust go and have a look for yourselves

Could not recommend this place more- I was apprehensive it was going to be cold in the winter but it heats up quickly and is super cosy. Very well equipped and very comfortable. Excellent value and surrounded by beauty! Would definitely come again!

Excellent facilities, lovely family, superb views.Will certainly be back, still breath taking after all these years (approx 40) and all the doggies have loved it too.

If you want to be remote but entertained, this is the best olace to stay, wonderful facilities, wonderful staff, everything, dont expect corner shops or short stroll pubs round the corner, but what a wonderfull place to just be you.

What’s not to like ? Cosy, well equipped lodge with everything you could possibly need or want. We enjoy the peace & quiet. We have frequent local wildlife visitors pine martins & deer, and geese on this visit.There’s no pressure to do or go anywhere but we’ve been visiting Resipole for over 20 + years. Our grown up children (semi locals) took their friend (1st time visitor) to try local walks, the lighthouse & they did the local distillery tour - which was amazing ! We’re alway reluctant to leave this magical place.
