Wee Bit Of Heaven On Earth

Chapman, Rhona - 04/04/2024

Our first visit of the year, we’ve been coming to Resipole for over 25 years……… and if that doesn’t explain things, stop reading this review lol.Peace perfect peace, time stretches and there’s no rush to do anything. Or you can Jam Pack your stay with wildlife, visiting tearooms after lovely walks, or a trip to your own secluded beach. Take a train trip or boat ride. We took a guided tour of The Ardnamurchan Distillery ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and I don’t like whisky. We stayed in Birch Lodge, cosy so well equipped with everything you need or forget to pack. The beds are so comfy.

Little bit of heaven on earth

Chapman, Rhona - 08/11/2023

What’s not to like ? Cosy, well equipped lodge with everything you could possibly need or want. We enjoy the peace & quiet. We have frequent local wildlife visitors pine martins & deer, and geese on this visit. There’s no pressure to do or go anywhere but we’ve been visiting Resipole for over 20 + years. Our grown up children (semi locals) took their friend (1st time visitor) to try local walks, the lighthouse & they did the local distillery tour - which was amazing ! We’re alway reluctant to leave this magical place.

This is a very clean chalet with comfortable beds, a powerful shower, and all of the utilities and utensils that you need. The surrounding area is just spectacular and the owners are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would stay here several times a year if I could.

So peaceful and quiet.

Wood, Kevin - 13/07/2023

We had high hopes for this holiday, and we were not disappointed, we stayed in The Birch Lodge and it had everything we needed for the week long stay, the campsite itself is very clean and unbelievably quiet, hardly a soul was seen all week, we had walks in the woods, up hills and swims in Loch Sunart, weather wasn't the best but it is what it is in this country, still plenty to do and see, we took ferries to Tobermory and from Mallaig to Skye, all running perfectly and on time. We received a nice welcome gift and so did our dog! I would highly recommend spending time here if you want to unwind and relax, we have managed to find a proper gem and will definitely return in the future!
