The Sinclair family welcome you to Resipole Farm Holiday Park which is on the north shore of Loch Sunart overlooking the Morvern Hills in the West Highlands. Perfectly situated to explore the Ardnamurchan Pennisula with its spectacular ancient oakwoods, deserted beaches and wildlife in abundance. Today Resipole is home to the Holiday Park, a working farm and Resipole Studios Fine Art Gallery.
There are many opportunities to fish, explore the sandy beaches and ancient ruined castles, otters, seals, red deer, pine martens, eagles, they are all here, right on the farm. Climb the hills out to the summit of Beinn Resipol enjoy the spectacular views out to Skye, the Inner and Outer Hebrides and over to Ben Nevis. Resipole can be a fantastic starting point for cycling too – enjoy incredible views as you cycle along Loch Sunart and through beautiful scenery. If you prefer a gentler pace, there are several local walks to enjoy, which can be started at the campsite.
Visitors can check out various summer exhibitions and even purchase art to adorn walls back home in the Resipole Studios or if they dare create their own masterpiece!!

Absolutely perfect , otters ,eagles , pine martins , seals , deer , your own mountain all in a beautiful location , this was our 3rd visit and we never want to leave
A truly special spot on Loch Sunart. A great place to be to experience the wild side of the Lochaber area. The lodge was excellent, equipped with all we needed, comfortable beds, and great powerful electric shower. The wifi was really good too. The staff we met were all really helpful and keen to help and share local knowledge. We brought our dog and it was a great lodge for him as well as the surrounding site, and area. Great base for wildlife and very walkable to wildlife hide. Lots of scope for adventure, with access to the sea loch which meant paddleboarding opportunities. Also a great base for Strontian area, Ardnamurchan, Salen, Loch Shiel and even Mull. Can't wait to come back.
We’ve been coming to Resipole for over 20 years and it feels like our home from home. Birch Lodge is cosy and comfortable. You’ve got lots of birds, a walk down to the loch and views for miles. You can choose to be was busy or a lazy as you like enjoying the peace & quiet - very restful. We’ve seen deer and have had regular visits from the Pine Martins on this trip. Stunning play to visit & stay.
Our fourth trip to Ardnamurchan and our third to Resipole Farm Campsite. The site is quiet and peaceful and well situated for exploring from Strontian to Ardnamurchan Point and further north. Birch Lodge is equipped to a high standard and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. It is ideal for wildlife watching with daily sightings of eagles, otters, porpoises and pine martens. Salen shop is well stocked and Iain’s fish van delivers fresh fish every Tuesday. Wildlife boat trip from Salen Jetty with Mark and Jan was a highlight. Resipole is a perfect quiet get away - we will be back!
The lodge sits overlooking Loch Sunset. It is delightful to be able to see stunning scenery from the decking and patio window. Although we were told we would see an abundance of wildlife we we're unlucky as to see hardly anything! (But others have!).Our host was helpful with advising us on places to visit (even though there were leaflets in the lodge it would have helped if there was a more informaive visitors book for the area). The lodge itself is very comfortable with an excellent shower! We had a problem with an outside bench and on notifying the host in the morning by the time we'd been out for the day new sitting had arrived. The customer service was excellent from Karin.A lot of places that are of interest to visit are quite far time wise so if you're not good and Scottish single roads beware! We visited the lodge in. August and we're surprised how few people were on the site - not sure why!
Enjoy, the title of my review says it all
The lodges are fabulous and good to stay in all year round. The walks and views are amazing. The locsl beaches are beautiful with clear water and white sand. The pubs and cafes serve brilliant food - gluten and dairy free options in places. It's easy to do a day trip to Mull and the other islands if you are organised. If you are lucky you'll be able to see pinemartins and otters near the lodge.
We had a wonderfully peaceful week at Resipole. The lodge we stayed in was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were visited by local wildlife including red deer and pine martens. The views of the surrounding area overlooking the loch were breathtaking. Cannot wait to return
The lodge was set in a beautiful location overlooking Loch Sunart. A pine marten was a regular evening visitor.
