First time visiting this holiday park and we were very impressed. The instructions to access the park were spot on and very easy to find our site. We were camping and found the tented area to be well maintained and flat. The toilets and showers were very clean and on the couple of occasions I spoke to staff, they were very friendly and polite. The best part for us though was the links from Stepps to Glasgow and Edinburgh, by train. We were a 10 minute walk to the local station and then 15min ride to Glasgow or just over an hour to Edinburgh (change at Falkirk, which is worth a visit too). There is a convenience store and Chinese takeaway just two minutes outside the park, and near the station (Stepps) there is a delightful cafe. The cafe is next door to a pub.If you’re comfortable with camping then £95 for three nights was a bargain.
We were here for two nights tovisitGlasgow. all was fine
Great site good location and the facilities were spotless
My 2 day stay was fine, but at £ 45,-- per day(only one person!) also by far the most expansive campsite after 8 weeks in Scotland!!!The staff were very friendly and helpful - facilities were very well maintained and clean. Easy walking distance to the suburban railway to Glasgow. The technical signal behind reception and therefore at the front pitches was extremely unpleasant and should be removed!A good campsite for a short stay!
Quiet camping, near Glasgow. We can recommend this place.
Lovely campsite. Buses to town. Hogganfield loch justdown thé road.
Great Location spacy Sites, Clean facilities
The site is incredibly tidy and well manicured, but situated in a housing estate so not very picturesque. Only reason to stay here in my opinion is to visit Glasgow as the train station is very convenient. Showers were a big let down, cubicles very small and difficult to get underneath the shower spray.
We stay for one day in R D V with motorhome.Everything was good except the fact that there is no place to remove gray water.!
