Excellent facilities and a great location handy for all the major towns as well as good walks in the area.

The pitches are nice a spacious, the shop sells a good variety and amazing home made ice cream and the shower block is the best shower block I have ever seen! Spacious, clean, modern and underfloor heating! Direct access to the high peak trail. 15 min walk to the Royal Oak pub up the trail. Lovely well maintained site.

Lovely campsite with excellent facilities, small shop. Great location for walking and cycling. Local pub only open Wednesday to Sunday in the evenings only.

Spotless facilities, friendly staff, plenty of space for the kids, animals to feed and the best ice creams. What’s not to love!!

Cons - grass pitch that was quite muddy and it's not been too wet recently so unsure how they would hold up in worse weather as we have a caravan. Pros - great toilet block that was kept clean and really warm. Unfortunately some guests can't keep facilities clean but thats not the blame of the staff!- Access to the high peak trail from the site is great for walking and cycling and the cycle hire on the tissington trail is only 3 miles away- Royal Oak pub at Hurdlow is a 20 minute walk away along the trail and has some of the best pub food around. Steak pie is a must!!! - Petting farm on site that was fabulous for the youngsters in the group. - Fire pit hire was also a hit for toasted marshmallows. - There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere, staff are friendly and helpful and we will definitely be considering returning and will recommend to others.

Nothing to fault wit the site itself. Modern clean facilities, great pitches, EHU, good value and good location for walking. Only letdown was the pub across the road but that's nothing to do with the campsite!

This was a very nice dog friendly site. The only thing that let it down was there was no adult only field and as a couple without children, the noise from the neighbouring families with children who arrived after us was very loud. Not the site's fault of course. Couldn't fault the site, friendly check in staff, ice cream and fresh milk machine were great. Clean and modern facilities. Good location, nice walks and cute farm animals.

Small shop for emergencies but not far from supermarket in Buxton. Ideal spot for a relaxing break Owners very helpful and give you good advice about local eating places etcDefinitely would stay their again

Nice well kept site, ice cream 🍦 is lovely from the shop, some nice walks around, Buxton not to far away but would need a car or bus which aren't regular, clean and warm amenities....

Site was well located with easy access. Pitches were large with all services. Facilities excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shop well stocked with maps etc. ice cream was a bonus.
