Potentially a 5 star site with an excellent location and facilities together with top class ice cream, an extensive collection of animals and a wild flower meadow for all to visit.The site is let down by poor location and management of the waste bins area - bins overflowing from Monday the day we arrived until Friday the day we left. We had Pitch 1 which was close to the facilties but was also the closest pitch to the waste bins resulting in swarms of flies around our caravan and awning -it became a "military operation" to leave the caravan & awning without numerous flies getting in.Question to the site owners/management "Why locate the waste bins area between the milk dispensing machine and the office/shop selling the ice cream -surely there are better locations on the site?"Overall not the best visit but may consider returning to the site but only on Pitches 6&7, the 2 hardstanding pitches furthest away from the waste bins.

Facilities are best in any camp site I've stayed in.

Lovely campsite and one which we have been to previously.

This is the third time we have been in consecutive years, and every time we stay for longer and plan for the next time! It's definitely become a tradition for us. As always, the facilities remain exceptional and the pitches are perfectly located. The farm grows each year and the children look forward to seeing how the animals have grown. Love staying here and have been numerous times. Great facilities, dog field is a real bonus too.

We really enjoyed our stay with 2 teenagers. The ice cream, farm animals and ball field kept us entertained and the shower block is the best we’ve ever seen

we have been to pomeroy 5 or 6 times-we love the trails the farm animals and surrounding walks.we have been to the local pubs for a meal -and to the local cafe onthe trail were you can hire bikes scooters tandems to go along the trails -we love it and will be going back for another visit .

Good location for walking routes

Excellent place to stay in a caravan, tent or motor home, superb clean facilities and a petting farm for the children, easy access to the high peak trails for cyclists or hikers, not forgetting that they sell some of the best homemade ice cream in the area

We booked on the campsite following a recommendation from a friend and are so pleased that we did! The campsite has everything, a lovely little shop, super clean facilities! A lovely little farm, Ice Cream and the most beautiful wildflowers! The field space around was brill- the ball games or a dog walking field were beautiful and always with plenty of space. Our tent pitch was very spacious and spot on for our 3 night stay.
