Returned here for a second time. Great site with excellent facilities. Highlight are the goats and milk machine - my 13 yr old loves it. Shop has everything we needed too. Only downside is that there was supposed to be wifi throughout the site but it was down for the whole week we were there.Would definitely come back again.

Lovely site, excellent facilities, friendly staff, great views, excellent value for money

First time in our camper an and a great place to try it. Friendly helpful staff on reception. Clean and modern toilet and shower block. Site was well kept. Small farm was great to walk around and the wildflower area was in full bloom and beautiful. Ice cream and fresh milk on site was a big plus as the weather was hot. Would highly recommend.

We’ve camped here often and will continue doing so. The facilities are excellent as is the location with pub walks from the site, Buxton and Bakewell a short drive away and lots of animals for the kids to pet. There is a little bit of noise from the main road when the camp is quiet at night but that doesn’t detract from the overall quality of the site.

A beautiful place to stay, great views, fantastic facilities. Spotlessly clean. A great feel to the place, all the animals look health, happy and well loved. We really enjoyed a bike ride on the trail which was easily accessible from the site.We can't wait to stay again .

Admittedly some of the pitches were a little tight, but this did not distract from the overall experience, which was excellent.The pitches were flat, the shower and toilet block was clean and for the first time in many a year our clothes did not get soaked in the shower cubicles and the water was hot. The kitchen area was a great size.The little shop was delightful, and the ice cream delicious. Even the small farm area was great for a wander, and we found ourselves drawn there everyday.There are pubs nearby that do food, (check opening hours) and some great walks/cycle routes nearby.All in all we enjoyed our stay here very much and will return. We recommend.

Fantastic couple of nights at Pomeroy Caravan Park. The toilet block is very clean and modern, and we stayed in our campervan on a fully serviced pitch (No. 3), which was flat with water and grey waste disposal within easy reach.There’s a very useful dog exercise area where we could let our spaniel off the lead and throw a ball for her, which was a real bonus.The High Peak Trail is easily accessible directly from the campsite. However, you are right at the northern end, so it’s all downhill to Ashbourne (via the Tissington Trail). Just be aware that this means a steady climb all the way back after lunch — not steep, but consistently uphill.Staff were very welcoming and helpful, and there’s also a petting area on site which is open to the public.

The facilities are very clean and well looked after, the shop is small but more than sufficient and offering quality dairy ice cream.The site isn’t huge and it has a genuinely good atmosphere, pub over the road for food if needed.Very happy 😃

We have stayed at Pomeroy countless times. Sometimes with friends and sometimes just as a couple.The site is ideally located for walking or a visit to nearby Buxton.An easy half hour walk to the nearest pub or 10 minutes more to our favourite pub in Chelmorton.Great for families, with a lovely little farm where you can purchase food to feed the animals if you have little ones.The shower block is kept very clean and is heated for colder times.Last but not least, you cannot leave without trying their delicious homemade ice creams made from the milk of their dairy cows. You can also buy the milk from a vending machine and add a flavoured syrup to make a milkshake.The hardstanding pitches are fully serviced and very level.We will definitely return...again and again!
