Always enjoy staying here, great set up in beautiful countryside.

We had a great stay at Pomeroy. The site was clean, easily accessible and not too large. The kids loved the animals and on-site access to milk. The bathrooms were a delight, really warm and clean. It was great to have easy access to dog walks as well being near to some beautiful scenery, walks and things to see and do.

Lovely spot, nice size pitch. The site was lovely and quiet in the evenings. Best part was the ice cream and the fresh milk!! Toilet facilities where clean and warm, there was plenty of washing up sinks. The only thing I can think of to improve on may be a small swing and slide, something along those lines as we struggled to entertain our little ones when we weren't out somewhere.

Toilet & shower block are beautiful, warm & very clean. The washing up area is easily located. The shop has basic essentials but enough if you've forgotten the odd item. The milk & milkshakes from the machine is an added bonus not too mention the ice-cream. I can highly recommend the Baileys & salted caramel & hubby goes for the Raspberry ripple every time. Lots of great walks from the site, great for walkers & cyclists. Highly recommended the Royal Oak at hurdlow. Very pleasant & helpful staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at pomeroy caravan park . The shower and toilet block was clean and modern and heated. All other facilities were good , good space for dog owners to take their dogs and great access to tissington trail .

We love this site! The staff were so lovely and helpful. The facilities were great and the toilets and showers were really clean and warm. The games field and the little animal farm was great for the kids. It was amazing to walk straight on to the high peak trail and we walked half an hour to The Royal Oak pub. The food was amazing at the pub and the views walking there were amazing. A great site in a great location.

A very nice campsite friendly staff helpful and facilities and pot wash always clean there is long walks near by and a few pubs in the area and shops near Buxton or Bakewell and some animals like pigs and goats on the campsite for kids to go see while enjoying there fresh ice-creams they make. Also well behaved dogs Welcome and Also would like to make a sergetion when muddy when heavy rain like we have had in the past few days in april .a outside dog shower area would be good for dogs to wash off muddy paws like a few camping site have .not just for dogs may be to wash off muddy boots too like a pot or stainless steal walk in basin mixer tap as water too cold need to be Luke warm for dogs in cold weather and a hand held shower hose you can rinse dog all over and under belly of dog or muddy boots .hope that's ok to ask but all in all it's a lovely place to stay and camp tents moterhome or caravans with electric and fresh water . Also a field with non electric campers

My company, Zest for Adventure, brought a group of young people undertaking their DofE Silver Qualifying Expedition to Pomeroy Caravan Park. This is one of the campsites that we regularly use on our Silver Qualifying Expeditions and, as always, everything worked out very well. The booking process was efficient and straightforward, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the facilities were excellent. As well as this, the campsite is set in an excellent location for expeditions. Our young people and staff were all very pleased with their experience. We will definitely continue to use Pomeroy in future. Thank you.

The campsite is beautiful, everywhere is clean and accessible. The toilets/showers are to a very high standard, with the addition of a heated floor which makes it a pleasant experience. The shop onsite is extremely friendly and the staff are helpful, the shop has everything you could need and at a reasonable price. The campsite has animals onsite which is amazing, the also have feed to buy at the shop, which they also limit so the animals don’t get over fed which is amazing. Easy access to the local trails. Overall 10/10 amazing.

Small site. Fabulous loo/shower facilities. Walkable to a couple of pubs that serve great food. Short drive for supermarkets etc. Will definitely be back.
