If you are looking for the perfect base in the Lake District, then look no further than Park Foot Holiday Park. Set on the banks of Ullswater, in the heart of the Lakes, we have three camping fields, all with electric hook up points, suitable for tents, caravans and motor homes and each have their own modern toilet and shower block.
Striding Edge field is situated close to the shop, new playground and new toilet/shower block. Sandall Field is situated closer to the reception area and TJ’s Restaurant/Bar. Lakeside Field has access to Lake Ullswater, providing stunning, picturesque views for those long, hot summer nights. There are drinking water taps placed conveniently around all the camping fields.
We want our guests to enjoy the experience of camping in Cumbria, so we endeavour to provide a friendly service and impeccable facilities. In doing so we hope our guests will continue to camp in the Lake District year after year, appreciating the beauty of Lake Ullswater, Pooley Bridge and our surrounding area.
Want to be on park, with self-catering, but don’t fancy a tent? Our luxury lodges, log cabins and cottages have complete access to the facilities at Park Foot.
At Park Foot, we have our own beach and launching facilities – free for those staying at the Park. You can also fish on Lake Ullswater for still water trout, perch, pike, char and schelly wild brown trout. The fishing season is from 15th March to 30th September each year - please note a rod license is required.
Please note, we are a family park only and do not accept groups.

Situated above the stream named “Aikbeck”, each lodge accommodates up to six people. Both have central heating and are available to book all year round. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard with wheelchair access and wet room which makes the property ideal for those with limited mobility, it comprises:
- Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with smart TV, electric fire and dining table.

Can’t be negative about anything on Park Foot, everywhere is immaculate, can’t fault it at all,
We have had a fantastic stay for 4 nights in our motorhome. Great location with great pitches. Lots of room for motorhome, awning and tow car. Great facilities and such an easy walk into Pooley Bridge. Can't wait to visit again.
We had a lovely stay here and would definatly return. Pooley bridge is only a 15-20min walk along th elakeside path, where the pubs offer a warm welcome and good food offerings. For thate something special try 1863, spendy but well worth every penny (pound).The on site bar restaurant also very welcoming, and although we did not eat here the food looked and smelt very apertising.One issue I would point out is that although our pitches were fully seviced, the water and waste points on some of the pitches were on the wrong side. Neither our fresh or waste water pipes would not have come near reaching on those pitched.
Love this park had a great weekend our only downfall was on Sunday night my husband and his friends were out with our dogs (our cockapoo is only 5months old) they both had headtorches on a young boy about 12 came towards them far too fast on a bike wit no lghts he caught his wheel on my dogs lead she went flying he didn’t even stop to see if she was ok there was a young boy and girl with who stopped they checked our dog was ok and said they would find the boy and get him to apologise but he didn’t come near us , also on our leaflet it said NO Electric bikes or scooter are allowed in ten park but we saw a few, on the Monday morning I went to receptionist to speak to someone the lady had shoulder length blonde hair she was lovely said she would speak to security as this should have happened to us t hasn’t put us off as we love the site but think this is a situation that should be looked at
We stayed here for Easter Bank holiday in the Barton Lodge, our stay was excellent the lodge was clean and had everything we needed the kids loved the park and the club house was good too. we would definitely book again
Not even storm David could spoil the enjoyment of the location of Parkfoot . Very friendly staff , shower block sparkling clean good food in the bar . Surprising amount of pubs in Pooley bridge which is only a short walk away l
The location of the house on the Main Street in Pooley Bridge is excellent and the gardens and play area is great for the grandchildren
Great park, great location, kids love it. Only disappointment was the shop this year, enjoyed looking in that in previous years. Everything seems a bit limited now and bare.
We’ve been coming to Parkfoot for years, we stay with friends and family and it never fails to tick the boxes! We stayed in Fuesdale Lodge this time and it was fab, so clean, so comfortable… especially during the recent storm! 100% returning again next Easter… if not before.
Absolutely beautiful place the site is clean and every time we visit, we see more work being done . This is my wife an I, favourite place .back in middle of may .
