Otterington Park offers a range of holiday options. We have touring Pitches available for short breaks or the full season, owner occupied static caravans & luxury holiday lodges or why not try Glamping in one of our cosy camping pods. Situated in the Vale of York the family owned and managed park is an ideal base for visiting the moors and dales of Yorkshire.

A range of options are available. Bring your touring caravan, motorhome or trailer tent to the park for a short break or longer term seasonal holiday. All pitches are gravel hard standing surrounded by grass, trees and shrubs. All pitches have electric hook up. It is a purpose-built park, designed to cater for up to 65 touring units. Children and dogs welcome. We have a children’s playground area and dog exercise field. For all your basic needs we have a small shop on site. Otterington Park is a lovely rural site with its own fishing lake and nature walks.

Yorkshire has a wealth of attractions, from outstanding natural beauty to the grandeur of England’s finest stately homes. Within 30 minutes’ driving time are the National Parks of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors. Northallerton the county town of North Yorkshire lies just 5 miles to the north, with its bustling twice weekly markets and excellent array of high class shops. The market town of Thirsk is 6 miles to the south, with its vast cobbled market square and world famous ‘James Herriot Centre’. The historic city of Ripon,‘Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales’, is 12 miles away, with its fine cathedral and architecture.

Staff do an amazing job of keeping everything clean and tidy and are very pleasant and friendly. Lovely woodland walk on site and only a short 5 minute walk to village pub . However be prepared for lots of kids running wild ,and last time we stayed we had a noisy group of friends gathered in awning directly behind us ,very loud and lots of colourful language.

Brilliant place to stay with the family. We all love it but most of all Children were happy that park was right near us. what we want when take children away on holiday. All the facilities were very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly n helpful. Great value for money locationis great. Definitely go back and recommend

We stayed in a camping pod (two adults, two kids) and had a lovely time. The site is a great location for exploring North Yorkshire - with towns like Thirsk close by. The facilities are fantastic: play parks for the kids, a football pitch and giant checkers. Super clean and modern toilet blocks with plenty of showers. Warm welcome on arrival. Can’t ask for more than that, would highly recommend!

We had a 3 night stay at Otterington park and would definitely go back. Large tourer pitches in well kept secure site. Good clean facilities and family friendly. Only criticism I would have is that the dog field would benefit from a gate but other than that one small thing it was great.

I was delighted with my stay at Otterington park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were exceptionally clean and well maintained. I felt very safe with the inclusion of entry/ exit barriers and a key fob. The children enjoyed the play areas and made new friends.

The pitches were of a high standard, lots of room and our own water tap. The facilities looked new, very clean ans excellent standard. The children's playarea also looked new and well kept. Staff very friendly and helpful, one of the best sites we have been to. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.
