Set in the charming village of Austwick near Settle, Orcaber Farm offers a haven for nature enthusiasts, boasting breathtaking views of picturesque countryside. The park’s strategic location makes it an ideal hub for exploring the enchanting Yorkshire Dales, with an array of walking and cycling trails at your doorstep and iconic landmarks such as Malham Cove, Ribblehead Viaduct, and the Yorkshire Three Peaks all within easy reach.
One of Orcaber's standout features is its diverse range of camping pitches, catering to various needs and preferences. For those seeking a bit of modern convenience, electric hookups are available, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromising the charm of the great outdoors. The well-maintained site encompasses modern amenities, including pristine toilets, showers, and a convenient washing-up area.
The campsite has garnered acclaim as a favoured destination for caravan and motorhome enthusiasts. Offering pitches of various sizes, including both grass and hardstanding options, Orcaber Farm accommodates vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
The emphasis on flexibility extends to camping pods, presenting an enticing alternative for those who crave the camping experience with a touch of added comfort. These well-insulated pods, capable of hosting up to four people, provide a cosy haven equipped with lighting and electric sockets—a perfect compromise between the allure of nature and the desire for creature comforts. It's worth noting that the pods do not include beds, so guests are advised to bring their air-beds for a restful night's sleep.
Beyond individual camping setups, Orcaber Farm excels in its provision of comprehensive facilities with the inclusion of electric hookups, well-maintained toilets and showers, and a practical washing-up area contributes to a hassle-free camping experience.
On-site facilities extend beyond the basic necessities, with an excellent shower block, separate facilities for men and women, and the thoughtful provision of hairdryers and electric points, albeit requiring a nominal fee. Clean and well-maintained toilets add to the overall positive impression.
Orcaber Farm goes beyond the traditional camping experience by providing a dedicated dog walk area along the river, creating a welcoming environment for pet owners. The presence of picnic benches scattered around the site invites guests to savour the tranquillity of the surroundings. A short stroll into the village rewards campers with access to a pub, a shop, and a play park, adding to the convenience of the location. For those in need of larger shopping options, the proximity of Settle, just five miles away, provides access to a larger supermarket.
For those seeking information on local attractions and activities, the Tourist Information point on-site is a valuable resource, offering a plethora of leaflets to guide your exploration of the surrounding area.
All our hard standing pitches are super pitches, which are hard standing with your own fresh water tap and grey waste disposal drain.

Fantastic views all around from your pitch. Very flat well drained field with large pitches and not over filled to leave plenty of open space.

I would highly recommend anyone to stop on this site it was a really nice experience we had been to another site in our tentbox when storm Dave hit we had to pack up and we rang here and they had a pod available for 2 nights we took it and it was a beautiful pod.. all the staff there were very helpful they done everything they could to make us comfortable.. I've never been to a campsite with shower and toilet facilities that are so well maintained and cleaned overall the place is fantastic and we will be returning in the future 😀
Went in a camper over the Easter break. It was quiet for the most part but this was affected by the weather not Orcaber. Staff were always helpful, the facilities are always excellent and clean. Had to cut the trip short as the awning was leaking in and storm david was hitting, which was not a reflection on Orcaber, but the staff were understanding about it. Hopefully they get the new field open for families to have more space for children to play. Plan on returning at least once more this year if not more.
Lovely stay at Orcberfarm Great staff Lovely clean facilities Plenty of room on pitch
Another fabulous stay. No hassles whatsoever. Toilet/shower block spotless. Will be back
Excellent, clean facilitiesLarge plotsGood location for walking, biking, visiting places of interest.Straightforward checking inQuietVery well maintained groundsLovely views
What a place! Immaculately clean toilets, great sized pitches and facilities. A few friends have recommended this place and I can see why. The gents could do with a few hooks near the sinks but it's only a minor thing. We'll definately be returning soon!
Stayed 3 nights between Christmas and new year. Site clean and well maintained. Lots of space. Great views. The site was ‘full’ and temperatures below zero , there was power probs which to be fair to the owner he moved us to a pitch and solved it.Can’t comment on how busy when the tent field is in use. However we would definitely recommend it 100% out of season. Will be coming back
Spent new year in a camping pod and had an absolutely spectacular time! The pods are warm and cosy and the facilities are super clean and everything works! The showers are super nice and hot and a pleasure to use, unlike many campsites where you wonder if you’re going to come out of the shower cleaner than when you went in!!The dog field is a complete bonus and allows you to let the mutt burn off the last of its energy before bed.
On arrival we could see how clean and tide the camp site was, friendly staff and very easy check in. Ablutions were very clean. Pitch was a good size. We did however struggle with the electricity box.
Very friendly staff Reece is the contact for arrivals and any problems lovely site clean and tidy facilities great a great base for exploring the area definitely recommend it and will be going back soon
