Set in the charming village of Austwick near Settle, Orcaber Farm offers a haven for nature enthusiasts, boasting breathtaking views of picturesque countryside. The park’s strategic location makes it an ideal hub for exploring the enchanting Yorkshire Dales, with an array of walking and cycling trails at your doorstep and iconic landmarks such as Malham Cove, Ribblehead Viaduct, and the Yorkshire Three Peaks all within easy reach.
One of Orcaber's standout features is its diverse range of camping pitches, catering to various needs and preferences. For those seeking a bit of modern convenience, electric hookups are available, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromising the charm of the great outdoors. The well-maintained site encompasses modern amenities, including pristine toilets, showers, and a convenient washing-up area.
The campsite has garnered acclaim as a favoured destination for caravan and motorhome enthusiasts. Offering pitches of various sizes, including both grass and hardstanding options, Orcaber Farm accommodates vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
The emphasis on flexibility extends to camping pods, presenting an enticing alternative for those who crave the camping experience with a touch of added comfort. These well-insulated pods, capable of hosting up to four people, provide a cosy haven equipped with lighting and electric sockets—a perfect compromise between the allure of nature and the desire for creature comforts. It's worth noting that the pods do not include beds, so guests are advised to bring their air-beds for a restful night's sleep.
Beyond individual camping setups, Orcaber Farm excels in its provision of comprehensive facilities with the inclusion of electric hookups, well-maintained toilets and showers, and a practical washing-up area contributes to a hassle-free camping experience.
On-site facilities extend beyond the basic necessities, with an excellent shower block, separate facilities for men and women, and the thoughtful provision of hairdryers and electric points, albeit requiring a nominal fee. Clean and well-maintained toilets add to the overall positive impression.
Orcaber Farm goes beyond the traditional camping experience by providing a dedicated dog walk area along the river, creating a welcoming environment for pet owners. The presence of picnic benches scattered around the site invites guests to savour the tranquillity of the surroundings. A short stroll into the village rewards campers with access to a pub, a shop, and a play park, adding to the convenience of the location. For those in need of larger shopping options, the proximity of Settle, just five miles away, provides access to a larger supermarket.
For those seeking information on local attractions and activities, the Tourist Information point on-site is a valuable resource, offering a plethora of leaflets to guide your exploration of the surrounding area.

Exactly what we were looking for lived up to expectations great stuff
Great site and really nice staff with everything you want on there Would defo come again
Beautiful site, excellent shower/washing facilities, friendly staff, spacious plots, very clean and maintained. We had a lovely stay and the pizza was absolutely gorgeous. The shop is well stocked and has everything you would need. There is a coffee machine that works by card payments so no messing with coins. This is the best shower block that I have used. Plug sockets also for yr straighteners, no need to take the dryer as they are provided. Firepit was offered each night but I didn't use. Will certainly return.
We stayed over the wet bank holiday weekend so the site was very busy but the toilets were always clean, there was enough space between the pitches to not feel overcrowded and the location was stunning. The enclosed dog field was great for off-lead activity and the pizzas we ordered on Saturday night were lovely - overall a site we would definitely like to visit again.
Stayed August bank holiday weekend the weather was the only thing that let the weekend down. The site, facilities and staff were all lovely 🥰
This is a great site ,very clean and tidy , we rate the sites we stay at and orcaber is 9.5 out of 10 ..half a point for Eleanor point ..it needs a small canopy over it so that to is undercover , but apart from that great site highy recommend 👌
Our first night was good, quiet and peaceful, the second night was interrupted by a man and woman walking around the site doing very loud fake laughing, this went on for 20 minutes just before midnight, clearly don't care about the campsite rules and no consideration to others trying to enjoy the surroundings.
We had a two night stay at this fabulous site. Despite it being the school holidays the site was relatively quiet. Friendly staff, lovely clean site and spotlessly clean shower and toilet facilities. Well done for keeping the facilities to such a high standard. We look forward to staying again.
Excellent site, staff are so lovely and very approachable. The site is extremely clean and very well maintained. We would definitely recommend and we will be returning.
