Set in the charming village of Austwick near Settle, Orcaber Farm offers a haven for nature enthusiasts, boasting breathtaking views of picturesque countryside. The park’s strategic location makes it an ideal hub for exploring the enchanting Yorkshire Dales, with an array of walking and cycling trails at your doorstep and iconic landmarks such as Malham Cove, Ribblehead Viaduct, and the Yorkshire Three Peaks all within easy reach.
One of Orcaber's standout features is its diverse range of camping pitches, catering to various needs and preferences. For those seeking a bit of modern convenience, electric hookups are available, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromising the charm of the great outdoors. The well-maintained site encompasses modern amenities, including pristine toilets, showers, and a convenient washing-up area.
The campsite has garnered acclaim as a favoured destination for caravan and motorhome enthusiasts. Offering pitches of various sizes, including both grass and hardstanding options, Orcaber Farm accommodates vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
The emphasis on flexibility extends to camping pods, presenting an enticing alternative for those who crave the camping experience with a touch of added comfort. These well-insulated pods, capable of hosting up to four people, provide a cosy haven equipped with lighting and electric sockets—a perfect compromise between the allure of nature and the desire for creature comforts. It's worth noting that the pods do not include beds, so guests are advised to bring their air-beds for a restful night's sleep.
Beyond individual camping setups, Orcaber Farm excels in its provision of comprehensive facilities with the inclusion of electric hookups, well-maintained toilets and showers, and a practical washing-up area contributes to a hassle-free camping experience.
On-site facilities extend beyond the basic necessities, with an excellent shower block, separate facilities for men and women, and the thoughtful provision of hairdryers and electric points, albeit requiring a nominal fee. Clean and well-maintained toilets add to the overall positive impression.
Orcaber Farm goes beyond the traditional camping experience by providing a dedicated dog walk area along the river, creating a welcoming environment for pet owners. The presence of picnic benches scattered around the site invites guests to savour the tranquillity of the surroundings. A short stroll into the village rewards campers with access to a pub, a shop, and a play park, adding to the convenience of the location. For those in need of larger shopping options, the proximity of Settle, just five miles away, provides access to a larger supermarket.
For those seeking information on local attractions and activities, the Tourist Information point on-site is a valuable resource, offering a plethora of leaflets to guide your exploration of the surrounding area.
All our hard standing pitches are super pitches, which are hard standing with your own fresh water tap and grey waste disposal drain.

Lovely well kept park, toilets and showers very clean and warm, only complaint you have to pay for showers but its only 50p so doesn't break the bank.
Great site, brilliant dog exercise area and walks directly from the site
Great stay, modern, clean facilities in a beautiful place
Fantastic campsite in an excellent location. Peaceful and with excellent amenities. Toilets and shower block immaculate. Friendly and helpful hosts. Cannot recommend enough and will be back soon.
Firstly, I would like to thank Neil who met us and showed us to our pod, he was courteous and friendly. The pod is very warm the location is good with nice walks from the site. Our dog loved being off lead in a safe dog field. We are going back again in April can't wait. There are so many places local we want to see. Three days weren't long enough. Highly recommend 👌
Brilliant site and owners, we had an issue with our electric cable and Neil came to the rescue with a spare one which we were able to use till we were due to leave, nothing was too much trouble.
What better way to start off the kids holiday than a stay in a camping pod. We'd never had this experience before and were delighted with the accommodation. The pod had lighting, plug sockets, radiator and a picnic bench outside, the only things we had to take were the airbeds, bed clothes and kitchen equipment for cooking. The children were able to walk to the facilities safely, literally just a 3 minute walk away from the pods. We all had a fabulous time. We will be back!
Stayed for 2 nights, this was our first trip in our new Motorhome. Pitch was great and lots of walking from the campsite. Toilets and showers were spotless. Highly recommended
it was the perfect spot for walks and exploring those charming little villages nearby. The views were absolutely incredible, like something out of a postcard. And the best part? It's dog-friendly, so my furry friend had a blast too! Now, here's my only suggestion to make it even better. It would be awesome if they had some sort of welcome pack or a warm greeting upon arrival. You know, just to make you feel that extra bit welcome and get you all settled in. I think that small touch would definitely take it from a 4-star experience to a full-on 5-star one!But honestly, overall, it's clear that this caravan site was well thought out. I mean, the location alone is a winner.
