Norden Farm, Dorset, England

Norden Farm is located in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck- set back from the main road, but with easy access. It is a rural farm site and may not be suitable for those looking for ready-made entertainment!

There are three adjacent, level grass fields offering electric hook up pitches, with an additional six- acre, non- electric field for tents and camper vans in peak season. There are no hard-standing pitches at present.

Onsite facilities include flush toilets and chemical disposal points, hot showers and private wash basins, a family room, disabled toilets and wet room (ambulant or aided only), separate laundry and washing-up rooms, a well-stocked farm shop, and a pooch parlour (a wet room and warm shower for dogs). For children, there is a play area and ball games court. We have a fridge and freezer for our campers, along with a locker facility for charging phones.

Most facilities are free for campers to use. WIFI is available for a small fee.

In addition to camping, a traditional farm cottage is also available for hire. This sleeps four and is situated on site, with its own private garden. Norden House is also available as a large self- catering holiday home that sleeps up to fourteen people.

Norden Farm is conveniently located for using public transport, making us the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Purbeck! Norden has two bus stops outside our site entrance, and two steam railway stations a short walk away, making access to Swanage or Poole simple and easy.

Norden is also only 3.5 miles from the ancient town of Wareham, where you will find an array of pubs, shops and the River Frome. Wareham also has a train link to Weymouth or London.

This campsite also boasts a footpath (taking roughly 20 minutes) directly from our campsite into the historic village of Corfe Castle, where you will find three pubs, the bakery and the castle ruins!

From the site, you can take a short drive to beaches such as Studland, Sandbanks and Lulworth Cove! Families will love exploring local attractions such as Dorset Water Park, The Tank Museum and Monkey World!

Norden Farm Campsite is clean friendly relaxing and has a wonderful shop with everything you need and more. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of lovely places to visit. There is a steam train that you can catch for a wonderful ride into Swanage. We love staying at Norden Farm. We have booked 2 more breaks there this year.

I have stayed at Norden Farm several times over the past few years, and it is always a very pleasant experience. The location is stunning, with many lovely walks right on the doorstep and the village of Corfe Castle just 20 minutes away. It is a working farm, so expect all that goes along with that! The facilities are kept immaculately clean, the shop is well stocked and the staff are really friendly. Would highly recommend! 😊

Really enjoyed our 3 night Bank holiday stay at Norden Park. The first impressions were great, and from there on we continued to be delighted with everything we saw. From the very beautifully kept fishing pond, the farm shop, garden centre, goats, lambs, the friendly and helpful staff, the spotless showers & toilets and fabulous views, couldn't have asked for more.

The site is great in an excellent location however despite being told there was a drive over drain to drain out the grey waste the area was far to tight to get into due to fencing being put round it and also someone has put a large flower planter across the entrance. So no where to empty waste.If you want pizza they are so popular make sure you allow an hour.

We visit you most years at least once. My partner’s been coming to you since a young boy and introduced the place to me 10 years ago and we’ve been coming ever since. Always a delight to see you plow the money back into constantly improving the place. The staff are bubbly and polite and the shop is full of literally anything you might need or have forgotten. The walks and views are incredible and having the peacocks and other animals roaming about is utter bliss for me! Thanks also for the wide range of vegan alternatives, I was spoilt! My partner on the other hand enjoyed the meats all reared from the farm itself. The sourdough bread is to die for. See you again soonBest wishes, Faye

Great flat site, plenty of space. No queues for facilities and always clean and plenty of hot water. Lovely farm shop and coffee van. Great walks and views straight from camp, we walked to Corfe Castle easily with the kids.
