Nice well kept site

The site & its facilities were well kept & laid out, in easy reach of Filey , well located for the other East Coast resorts. The electric supply works with a few small issues you need to be vigilant, it did seem expensive for the power. Apart from the Gents toilet been a bit pongy with a wee smell all really good , will definitely return this season

Toilets etc fine.Chemical waste disposal points very poorly designed. They look impossible to clean properly. The pitches were much too close together. Hence this review's title.

Good but aging

The site is in a good location. The pitches are excellent - good size, level, with services -water/electric/grey waste. We liked the separate charging for showers and site electricity and think this is a good eco measure as we have previously seen abuses when these have been included in the site charge. The common facilities toilets, showers, laundry room etc are starting to show their age and could do with some TLC.One (of two) sinks in the washing-up room had a "Do not use" sign up for the whole of our 9 day stay - with no sign of any action or indication when it may be back in service. The mirrors above the wash basins have been installed for people of less than 4 ft tall and are not good for normal people (shaving etc.)The shower heads are too high and non adjustable. A lot of water is wasted as the spray is too wide by the time it gets down to shoulder level. As a more elderly camper (with less balance when standing on one foot) I would like to see more dressing area in sh

Lovely site.

Wain, Deborah - 23/06/2022

Staff welcoming and accommodating. Clean site. Clean shower block. Slightly uneven pitch. Pitch 72 not recommended as under trees dripping sap. Car and caravan really sticky and dirty after 4 days! Will return to site but not to pitch 72. Would recommend patrons quiet between 10pm and 8am, as kids were noisy between these times. Also need to take privacy screen as there's no hedging between pitches.

Great location.

Hepples, Jillian - 17/06/2022

The site is handy for town and the beach yet feels a long way from civilisation. Golf club nearby had good reasonably priced food and drink as well as lovely views. Toilets need a bit of TLC but not too bad.

Cheeky weekend away to try out our new caravan

McKernan, Christine - 17/06/2022

We arrived earlier than expected and everything was straightforward, site was very clean and tidy and we found our pitch with ease. Very secure site with barriers and speed limits and a nice little park for the kiddies so we will definitely visit in the future and probably bring our granddaughter as well 😊😊😊

Lovely grounds

Tidy, Philippa - 10/06/2022

First time here. Nice, well maintained grounds in a nice area and only 20 min walk into Filey. Nice to have water on the pitch. We stayed one night and used a fan heater, the cost of electricity was about £2. The showers could have been cleaner, but were closed for cleaning the next morning. The lady on reception was very friendly but I was a bit surprised at a face mask requirement and being taken outside to do the introduction. Think it’s time to move on from all that now!
