Lovely stay at Mains Farm, friendly helpful staff, cannot wait our next stay.

This is the first time we have been to mains farm , the family and friends we were with have all been before.its a family run farm they are very friendly .And I’m sure they are busy as it’s a working farm . It’s a very clean farm and it’s the first site we have been that had a microwave/ kettle/ Toaster/ and fridge Freezer in the barn were the wash up sinks are .we thought this was a really good idea. The pitches were all separate and good spacious pitches. We had electric hook up which was good. There are some nice walks by the river . And we noticed tepees and pods you could rent. Will definitely return 👍🙂

Always a fantastic camping trip when we book here from the lovely friendly owners Robert and Julie to the other staff always busy but have time to chat. All the pitches are good sized and they never overcrowd the fields excellent shower and washing facilities and the private bathroom hire is a must for your stay a short walk down to the river from the site that’s gated off so no worry of little ones who go off exploring the site which is safe to do so plenty of parking away from the pitches so peaceful and quiet on a evening sat around the fire pits that you can hire

A beautiful place to spend a few days, and we felt really well looked after. Good facilities, and the site felt very safe—it was lovely to let the kids roam around and go the playground by themselves. The location was perfect: very easy to travel to the Lake District or Penrith, but away from all the traffic. Very much hoping to go back one day.

Lovely campp site well speared out picturesNice and quiet, lovely owners lots of things for the children to play on lovely walks, especially down by the Riverside. You will be returning next season.

Great site , everything you need for a nice relaxed weekend , kids loved it as they had a park to play on and a short walk down to be able to play in the river . honesty shop had some nice choices and the lemon drizzle cake was incredible . The only down side was there was no music, not even in the day which i thought should have been alllowed at a low level but that is the only negative you can find on this site . we will 100% be returning to this site .

We had the best time staying as a group of school friends with all of our young sons, the site was perfect for the boys to enjoy themselves and mums had a relax too! It was amazing value for money! The owners were present and lovely to chat to nothing was too much trouble for them.
