A beautiful place to spend a few days, and we felt really well looked after. Good facilities, and the site felt very safe—it was lovely to let the kids roam around and go the playground by themselves. The location was perfect: very easy to travel to the Lake District or Penrith, but away from all the traffic. Very much hoping to go back one day.

Lovely campp site well speared out picturesNice and quiet, lovely owners lots of things for the children to play on lovely walks, especially down by the Riverside. You will be returning next season.

Great site , everything you need for a nice relaxed weekend , kids loved it as they had a park to play on and a short walk down to be able to play in the river . honesty shop had some nice choices and the lemon drizzle cake was incredible . The only down side was there was no music, not even in the day which i thought should have been alllowed at a low level but that is the only negative you can find on this site . we will 100% be returning to this site .

We had the best time staying as a group of school friends with all of our young sons, the site was perfect for the boys to enjoy themselves and mums had a relax too! It was amazing value for money! The owners were present and lovely to chat to nothing was too much trouble for them.

A great camping trip with family, three pitches right next to eachother in the orchard field. Friendly owners and staff Great facilities Highlight was watching the stars round a camp fire at night. River fantastic too.

Really nice campsite. The owners were very helpful. We stayed for 2 nights in a camping pod. We had a nice chilled 2 day here.

We are returning customers , we have been coming here for 12 years now. We love coming here, it is a lovely relaxing site where you can totally switch off from everything. Robert and Julie are fantastic hosts and are very accommodating.
