Staying on a working farm is always an enjoyable experience. The facilities are located in the old farm buildings which gives the site it's character. There is a peaceful walk along the river with the dog which completes the experience. Very helpful owners were happy to accommodate any request.

Once again a lovely stay at Mains farm, Julie and Robert are so welcoming, and the staff too. Even though it was not the best weather we went on some beautiful walks, and still managed to sit around a fire basket in the evening, perfect 👌

We stayed with friends and family in pods and absolutely loved it. The facilities are modern, clean and well maintained. The kids loved the playground. There's an honesty shop should you need a few bits and bobs. The pods are warm, clean and cozy. The walking nearby is great and you can dip in the river if you fancy. The site owners Robert and Julie are friendly and helpful, going out if their way for us. A hidden gem in the Eden Valley. We will definitely be back.

Lovely big flat pitches and site is well maintained. Fantastic location with lots of walks direct from site and short walk along the river to village with shop and pubs. Owners are friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again!

Robert was really helpful and a friendly chap, along with everyone else we met on the Farm. We were made to feel welcome, and we really enjoyed the relaxed vibe. The kids (2 x toddlers) loved running around in the safe open spaces. The facilities were really clean and just what we needed.Thanks for a lovely stay. We will be back!

I visited last weekend with my husband, daughter & springer spaniel. It was our first time camping as a family so we weren’t 100% sure of what to expect / how it was going to go. We needn’t have worried as the weekend was fantastic all round. Robert & Julie are so lovely & willing to help, it’s so lovely to see them riding around the farm checking everyone has everything they need. Facilities were also perfect, we took advantage of booking the private bathroom which made life so much easier with a 3 year old.So much free space for children to run round and play with other children who are also on the site. Struggled to get my little girl away from the playground! Already can’t wait for our next camping trip x

Fabulous campsite. Really lovely staff. Super clean facilities. Lovely location.We stayed in a pod, which whilst small was much easier then dealing with a tent. And it had a heater, sockets and a fabulous view. And for a few quid more than taking a tent definitely worth it. Facilities are amazing. Kettles,microwave, toaster fridge and freezer. Shop selling everything from wine to ice lollies. Loads of showers and toiletsAn indoor searing area for evening drinking if it rains. Great walksNearby lido and loads of other stuff to do.Local pub by the railway The Midland. Fabulous friendly helpful staff. Great food. Awesome prices. Would definitely come back

A washing up bowl would be useful in the kitchen or a sink plug so dishes can be washed.

Absolutely brilliant site. I have been a number if times and camped and also stayed in a pod. The facilities are good friendly owners. Cant recommend highly enough
