We loved this camp site, beautiful surrounding and very peaceful. The facilities were fantastic and clean. The staff were most helpful, kind and answered any questions we had. There is a lovely little honesty shop with snacks. We would definitely be returning.

We stayed in a camping pod, with friends staying in other pods in the Orchard Field. The pods are really spaced out to give lots of privacy, and there was plenty of space in the field to gather around the fire pit on an evening. The kids loved the play area and all the space in the field for them to play ball games. The facilities were very clean. The pod was so cosy even on a very wet and chilly evening. We will definitely return.

Just to say thanks so much for such a great mini break on your fabulous farm - the mums and kids had a blast, your facilities are great and the pods perfect for what we needed!Thanks for the last minute Prosecco and malteasers too - just what we needed!!!

As regular visitors of Mains Farm we enjoy the site and its amenities. So quiet and such beautiful views. Robert and Julie are so lovely and very helpful. They will help you in so many ways and go above and beyond.

Fabulous campsite with great facilities. Loads for the kids to explore and lovely site to chill around a fire pit. Perfect for family groups, we'll definitely be back.

We had an amazing time, we stayed in a pod and it was warm and cozy . Perfect for cooler months before we’re happy camping. Despite the rain we had fun in orchard field, and in the playground . Was lovely having the lambs and rabbits so close to our pod The owners are fantastic, so attentive and caring. Constant supply of wood ( and wine ) .. lovely honesty shop and great shower / washing facilities .We couldn’t ask for anymore, this place is beautiful.

Another lovely stay at Mains. Perfect for a chilled getaway it was lovely waking up to the lambs bleating . Showers hot toilet blocks maintained and kept clean and tidy. Counting the days to our next adventure there.

Yet again we had a lovely stay, friendly staff, clean facilities and of course beautiful walks, perfect.

We have been visiting Mains for several years now,Julie, Robert their family and staff are all super friendly and accommodating,nothing is too much trouble for any of them.....accessible for the lakes,Penrith,Carlisle,facilities are fab too......highly recommended to all xx
