Lenders, Rooskey was recommended by a friend as a quiet, affordable, high standard resort for family camping. Playground close by but off site is perfect as children can play and enjoy themselves but others can quietly relax, walk beautiful near by walkways or fish. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The site is kept to high standard. Shower facilities are impeccable and at no extra cost.just off site centra shop has everything you could need and reasonably priced. Recommended Coxs steakhouse in near by Dromod was fabulous-food and atmosphere.

Roosky is a lovely clean site, some nice walks nearby and 2 well stocked shops within walking distance. Staff are very friendly, yer man’s pizza is a wonderful addition but sorry to see that the coffee dock was gone from our last visit. It would be great to see the building getting done up and having more and bigger toilet and shower facilities.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Not a lot in Rooskey anymore, but it did not detract from our visit. Very enjoyable for a 2-3 day stay.

Nice place to stay as a base but not really suited to young kids.Facilities are limited to just a shower and toilet Staff are friendilyIdeal location for kayaking and fishingDromod is just a short distance away and has some nice restaraunts and a busy little harbour. We visited a train meusem there it was great kids loved it it had trains , planes some military guns and a short train ride on a steam enigine

Campsite quiet, friendly and clean but unfortunately Rooskey itself doesn’t have much to offer except for the pizza van “Yer Man”” which was exceptionally good.we cycled to Dromod and Tamanbarry where there was plenty of life, restaurants and pubs.Would stay at campsite again as a base to explore,enjoyed our stay.

Very clean site, staff extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Nice pathway to walk dogs away from traffic, extremely peaceful and right on the banks of the river Shannon. Facilities were good considering only a medium sized site, better than some of the bigger sites that I have visited.

We needed a one night stopover and this place is perfect has toilet and shower coded for site users no frills just good and clean and great pitch looking out onto river, shop 500yds away and a pizza van was very welcomed on the Friday night with a voucher for 20% off when booked on site, walked to next town 2 miles away and lovely marina and great pub for food if needed and the customary Guinness couldn’t fault our stay highly recommended.

Site was lovely with wide pitches and clean amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish Rooskey had a pub that did food or a restaurant of some description.somwhere open during the day. We did get take away delivered to site which was very nice but when you are in a motorhome don't always feel like having to drive out again for food. We stayed an extra night.

The Lack of dishwashing equipment is a no-go! With The existing equipment price Must Not exceed 25 Euro for campingcar and 2 persons!

We loved staying here , it’s so peaceful and fabulous looking out at the water watching boats go by .
