we found j35 a direct route to the camp site. and accessibility very easy.The area is lovely..i must say my first check at any camp is the toilets, and these are spotless well done to the staff..we found a couple of realy nice pubs to eat at and totaly enjoyed our stay Thank you

We use the fabulous secure caravan storage facilities at Llandow to store our caravan, and we visit the site regularly. The on site facilities are always clean and the site itself is immaculate. When using Llandow we often go to Cowbridge, Llantwit Major, and we also visit some of the pubs in the area. Our favourites being, The Lambs Flag and The Star in nearby Wick, and The White Hart in Llantwit Major. Although I am not a drinker the pubs have great food and lovely atmospheres. We also enjoy visiting the church in Llantwit Major because of its vast history. All in all a great place to visit and keep our caravan. The staff at Llandow are always very friendly, helpful, and always at hand for any problems you may, but very rarely, have.

Perhaps the grey and dull weather had something to do with it but I found this caravan park quite sad and depressing. Situated ust off the road and next door to a race track, it was all a bit uninspiring not to mention noisy when the racetrack opened up in the morning and put pay to any lie in I had hoped for. The staff were friendly so no complaints there and the loos and showers were clean and tidy but I decided to stay only one night and not two as planned. I would imagine if you are a petrol head or had impaired hearing, then this campsite may appeal to you?

The shower block is immaculate and the staff are lovely. We will be returning again. In a lovely location between the towns of Llantwit and Cowbridge. You do need a car to get about but can’t fault it.

Stayed for the Elvis fest in Porthcrawl., which is about 30 mins away.. Good central location as we also explored the local area.The site is easy to access, well laid out. Facilities clean and well maintained.Great stayThanks

A warm welcome on arrival at reception where we were shown our pitch on an adjacent site outside the main campsite. The pitch was gravel with some grass and the electrical point was close by but amongst mostly towing vans that looked to be permanently placed. The big bonus for us was the designated dog walking area, which was well kept and looked to be used properly by its users, no mess evident anywhere. The toilet and shower block was adequate but there being only 3 of each in the men’s block I can’t imagine it’s enough in high season. We found water points for topping up but the grey and black waste dropping point was confusing, so we didn’t bother. Overall it has what you need for an overnight and the price seemed comparable to other sites we used in the UK but it’s more than double what you’d pay in France.

We stayed here for two nights. We used the site as it is a good site if you want to visit Cardiff and we had a reunion with friends thete. However, the Vale if Glamorgan is rich in places to visit in its own right with very and pretty villages everywhere! We will definitely go there again but to explore this time. The facilities were excellent and with a superb and well looked after dog walking area. We hace a border collie

We brought our caravan to Llandow for a week near my daughter. A great site with very accommodating staff. We needed to move pitch to hardstanding and it was no problem. Facilities clean and well maintained. The fact that this is part of an historic WW2 airfield adds to the attraction. Handy for all the main centres, Barry, Cardiff, Porthcawl. A great break, thank you
