Highly recommend

Lightburn, Rachel - 21/03/2024

5

Great stay at Littlemere and we will definitely go back! We also took our dog with us and the lodge was still very clean and luxurious- some dog friendly places aren’t. The view across the tarn was so beautiful and peaceful, we could also see the sheep on the fields from our window which was also lovely! All facilities were very clean, everything we needed was in the lodge. In standard lakes fashion we had all of the seasons in one weekend so the fire was a real treat.

Tranquility

Stephenson, Ben - 19/03/2024

We have stayed many times at Littlemere and returning later in the year.Although it rained heavily for most of last week while we were there, it didn’t spoil the experience as there is so much to see.Ducks, oyster catchers, Canada goose and moor hens on the tarn. We saw the deer family - a mother with her twins who were born last Autumn. The young male is beginning to grow his antlers.Although it was a week or two early for their own lambs we were able to see tiny lambs in the fields nearby. So many easy walks from the lodge. The lodge itself is modern, well equipped and always immaculate.Jen and the Littlemere team couldn’t do more to make you welcome and ensure your stay is comfortable. Can’t way till we’re back in May.

Peaceful location

Little, Carl - 19/02/2024

5

The lodge was spacious with a cosey feel and it had good quality furnishings. The lodge was very clean and tidy on arrival and the complimentary items were much appreciated. The log burner kept the lodge lovely and warm on the cold evenings and the spa bath was great to relax in after a days walking. The site is very quiet with easy access and is ideally located for exploring the whole Lake District.

Our first puppy break!

Jess - 01/02/2024

Absolutely loved this place! We found it on the day after the accommodation we booked not being safe for our sox month labrador. The staff were amazing at getting us booked in. We arrived at the lodge and it was just PERFECT! So safe and secure for our dog! Luckily we had brought supplies with us as it’s a way from the shops in the dark, one car roads but we wouldn’t hesitate on coming back and can’t wait for our next visit.

Excellent lodges in a beautiful location

Scattergood, Ann - 05/01/2024

5

Well maintained spacious lodges. Lots of little extras and special touches to make these lodges perfect. Idyllic location, although situated on a single country lane in, but worth the drive. Highly recommend any of the lodges but the Drey has a lovely hot tub and a small private outdoor area. Perfect for our dogs.

Small, warm and cosy

Carr-Woodward, Lynn - 01/01/2024

The lodges stand in a row looking out on to the tarn, so with a lovely view. Our lodge was a semi-detached which was compact, but warm and cosy.We stayed over Christmas, and didn’t see any staff but didn’t need to, as everything was in place (keys etc) all waiting inside, including a few Christmas decorations and a lovely gift of mulled wine and a box of local Lakeland fudge. The lodge was very clean with everything we needed for a 4 night stay. The weather at this time was challenging, so we didn't explore much of the surrounding area, but the lodge gave us what we’d hoped - a time to just switch off and chill, as well as an opportunity to spend time on our hobbies of art and photography, having the lovely views and the birds from the patio doors overlooking the Tarn.Care was needed on the steps leading up to the lodge and on the outside surface of the patio which tended to be slippy in the wet and the freezer door didn’t want to close securely - otherwise a great place t

The lodge was really lovely and clean- loved the extra touches such as pint of milk in fridge and Kendal mint bars! Loved the peace and quiet of the location and had some great walks in the surrounding area. Great value for money overall and highly recommend this place if you want to get away from it all for a peaceful break,
