Great weekend.Caravan was basic but clean... the staff were friendly and efficient, we never went to mermaid bar except for key pickup but it seemed nice friendly staff and place to go.. would recommend lighthouse leisure and will definitely be back..

stayed for the weekend on my birthday and had a fabulous time, such a selection to visit with food and pubs. The caravans are so clean and fresh.

The area is a great place to get away from the humdrum and do as little or much as you like.The lighthouse site is one of at least three sites all adjacent to each other. Compared to other sites we have used through the UK it's average, some of the caravans look somewhat tired but the site is kept clean and manicured, the staff are available, pleasant and very responsive to issues.The main down side for us is access to the swimming pool as it isn't suited to a couple looking for a quick dip as it is bookable for groups rather than open sessions.Public transport is easily accessible with a regular timetable for buses from the entrance area.

Lovely, helpful staff the whole time from booking to leaving. Quiet site with ample facilities. Unfortunately had to cut our break short so feel can’t comment much more.

I spent four days here. The site is only a few minutes walk to the beach; I had two dogs with me so this was ideal for me.The caravan was clean and comfortable and reception staff were friendly and welcoming.

Lighthouse was great for us for visiting mountain biking trails close by and other activities and for this reason I would consider it an option for staying again. We had a nice welcome and everyone was friendly. The caravan was reasonably new and clean with good amount of kitchen kit but was a bit on the sparce side (I did book the comfort plus!). You have to remember that people are coming on holiday and it should feel more like a home from home. A few pictures on the wall and perhaps a lamp in the lounge would have gone a long way to make it feel more homely. And one of my gripes with all caravan holiday, not just particular to lighthouse, is why would I leave my supremely comfortable bed to sleep on the cheapest, most basic mattress that money can buy. Frustrates me every time.Another problem was the lack of WiFi on site especially as there is very poor mobile signal but I believe this was being addressed.In summary, we had a pleasant stay and would consider returning.

The caravan we got for 3 adults and 2 children not 5 adults was clean and tidy but for the £75 pounds extra that I had to pay I would have expected the beds to be made on arrival and not have to make them ourselves also toilet roll should have been provided and you need some cushions in the lounge area which would make it cosier also didn't find any where to hang our jackets apart from over the seats especially when we had to sit down next to them . One bedroom was very tight to move around in and the sheets didn't fit the double bed properly they kept coming away you would have know that if the beds got made and should be made especially when you charge £25 extra for bed linen, we can't decide if and when we will be back , make a few changes to inside the caravan by adding pillows for people with bad backs and some where to put jackets and have bed made up then we might consider returning at some point

Lovely location. Good walk for dog down to beach and along. Lovely eating places and good chippy. Site very clean. Good pub with entertainment on when we were there. Lovely pool which we used last time we visited and a great play area if your bringing kids. Handy shop just outside park. Caravan was lovely and was spotless. We had a great time and will defiantly be back. Highly recommend.

Caravan was immaculate, really nicely kitted out and had a lot of cooking utensils, bin bags etc that you normally have to take yourself. Staff couldn’t be friendlier and the highlight of the holiday for us was having the pool hired to ourselves for an hour each day. It was lovely and clean and a treat to have such a wonderful facility. Will definitely be back.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The caravan, although a little compact for our needs, was clean and comfortable. We were supposed to be in a comfort + but it was very small.The park itself was clean and well kept.Nice walks along the coast in easy access from the park. Locals all seemed friendly.
