I want say I love lighthouse leisure, the van we were provided was lovely inside absolutely spotless with pubs close arcade chippy plenty choices to eat out if you want .

Booked in through reception only to receive a poor and complicated brief as to our pitch. No details on best direction to approach and nothing in ref to position of caravan in relation to marker location. Consequently had to return to reception for further guidance. The filling of the fresh was a joke.... very poor water pressure and a "push down tap" which you had to keep your hand on to push down whilst filling, took forever to fill. The grey waste disposal was the tiny drain at the base of the fresh, very unhygienic. Dish wash a nightmare, again push down taps and no hot water so that was abandoned. Shower was also an abandonment, again push down tap and no hot water. Shower cubicle was a wet room so impossible to dry properly even if we had managed to use the shower which we didn't so the van Shower had to be used for 2 adults and the 3 grandkids..... those with a tourer will know exactly how that went and how long it took not to mention the issue with the fresh filling...

Really lovely caravan in a great location. Close to the beach and golf course and the 19th hole a great place for food and drinks

Plenty of music and entertainment good chippy and shop just of site good friendly staff

Enjoyed weekend away family also enjoyed but caravan vould have been better.

We were parked very close to the bar, marquee toilets etc, thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break with live music Saturday and Sunday, bar was good, toilets clean and decent washing up sink, overall park was lovely, some cracking walks along the beach from lighthouse, no complaints whatsoever

All of the staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful. The site was well maintained and clean, and the facilities were plentiful. Local food providers were great and reasonably priced, and the pool was lovely and we especially liked the fact that it was on a private hire basis. The changing facilities were excellent and the pool was a good temperature. If I had to find one critique it would only be that the water level of the pool had dropped slightly and you could see a grubby line that could have done with a a bit of a freshen up. However, it was not enough to put us off going and using it again. Great place, highly recommended, even with two teenagers and a dog to keep occupied!

The weather wasn't the greatest, no fault of Lighthouse Leisure though. However having a 10 year old boy with us, it did cut down on the amount of things you can do. Especially as were the campsite is based, most of the activities that are around and about are outdoor based. The campsite its self is good for a nice quite break, although my boy thought the arcade could do with a upgrade as he got bored after a day. The caravan was nice, although the double bed was about as soft as sleeping on a rock! Ok if you have a bad back. Overall though we had a peaceful and enjoyable week.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at lighthouse. Caravan was lovely clean ands fresh. Staff at the mermaid were excellent. Im thinking and looking to purchase a caravan on the site

Recently bought a motorhome and took my 9 year old to stay for a few days.Weather was fantastic, the food was great and the facilities were good apart from no mirror above the men’s sinks so missed half of my face shaving.Won bingo in the mermaid bar so used the winnings to stay an extra night. We will be back.
