A serene holiday park in the midst of the stunning Yorkshire Dales, Langcliffe Park offers a tranquil escape amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the much-loved National Park. Encompassing 841 square miles, the Yorkshire Dales National Park boasts 1,633 miles of footpaths, abundant flora and fauna, and captivating views of the unique 'Dales' terrain, making it a coveted destination for those seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Unlike many holiday parks, Langcliffe Park distinguishes itself by embracing quietude. Devoid of a bar, restaurant, or entertainment facilities, it serves as a haven for relaxation and a strategic base for planning exciting adventures within the expansive National Park. While it radiates tranquillity, the park is far from isolated, conveniently located just a five-minute drive from the A65 and a pleasant 15-minute stroll from the historic market town of Settle.
Settle itself offers an array of amenities, including cafes, restaurants, shops, fuel stations, and entertainment options, ensuring that visitors have easy access to necessities and diversions.
Langcliffe Park provides over 30 pitches for those eager to explore the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales. The National Park, with its distinctive landscape, offers a myriad of possibilities for exploration, encouraging repeat visits from satisfied patrons. The park is specifically designed to cater to couples and families rather than large groups, emphasizing a peaceful atmosphere conducive to fully enjoying the natural wonders surrounding it.
The park offers two types of pitches: 'Standard electric,' equipped with electric hook-ups, and 'Deluxe,' which includes electric hook-ups along with water and waste points. All pitches feature flat, hard-standing surfaces with space for one car and an awning. Many pitches offer stunning views, and returning visitors often request their preferred spots.
Langcliffe Park provides essential facilities to enhance the camping experience. A short distance away, a shower/toilet block offers disabled facilities and free hot showers. Additional amenities include a washing-up area, a chemical toilet disposal point, a motorhome waste emptying point, a recycling area, and a laundrette.
The park is equipped with WiFi, ensuring online access for those who wish to stay connected. Families with children can take advantage of the outdoor play area, while a dedicated 'ball games' area caters to sports enthusiasts. A dog walking field accommodates furry friends, making Langcliffe Park a welcoming destination for pet owners.
In essence, Langcliffe Park stands as a quiet and idyllic base for embarking on a Yorkshire Dales adventure. Its commitment to serenity, coupled with well-appointed facilities and proximity to Settle, makes it an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature.

This is a lovely well thought out site. It is large but very quiet. We stayed in a fully serviced touring pitch which was level, large and supplied everything we needed. The only negative was that the toilet/shower block was cold but the weather was well below freezing. There is a large secure dog walking field which was fabulous Also quick walk into settle either by road or over fields. Lots of lovely walks around tooWould recommend
Fabulous stay and a bonus - hardly any rain. Issue with serviced pitces as pipes froze but we were in -8 temperatures !!! It would be great if the heating in the toilet blocks could be overridden in these conditions as they were absolutely freezing and went off due to the sensor/timer when in the shower. Overall a great break and we even extended our stay because we were having such a great time!
Lovely friendly staff, washrooms are very clean. The dog field is brilliant for a quick run although there are fantastic walks right from the site.Only 4* as we felt that the deluxe pitch was quite narrow. We have a canopy for use in winter but if we had put this up we would have had to walk onto the grass because of the door configuration and therefore did not put it up.
Very quiet site, lovely walks around the area and in walking distance to the town with lots of pubs and restaurants.
Quite expensive for the pitch which was right next to the woods and trainline but overall loved the site and area with nice pubs and easy access to other places. The shower/toilet block was very clean but very cold! couldn't change the temperature of the water in the showers which is fine for most of the year but not when it's sub zero outside.
Very good site, clean and very friendly, pitches are perfect for caravan and awnings, fully seviced pitches all day, site is very quiete which was good,
Great site, great location, very clean and very well thought out. Only issue was the main water pipe for the service pitch wasn’t very well insulated, so we had no water in the morning until I unfroze. Other than that the site was very good.
Stayed for 2 nights at the end of November. Lovely site, quiet and tidy. Unfortunately I can’t comment on the facilities as we stayed on a fully serviced pitch. Easy 15 minute walk to Settle town centre. Weather was atrocious but we still enjoyed it. Would definitely return
It was our first time at Langcliffe park and I have to say it was very clean tidy and exceptionally well presents. The facilities were warm, well maintained and well thought out. The site is a short 1mile walk from settle which is ideal - long enough to stretch your legs after a good breakfast and equally if you had a pint with a pub lunch or meal in the afternoon. Will definitely be returning again.
