Very friendly staff and a wonderfully situated place for walking. Lovely showers too. Pub serves reasonably good beer and delicious food. It's a bit of a challenge getting there atm as the most convenient road is closed, so a 3 mile excursion is needed. Definitely recommend this site for walkers and those wanting a relaxing break. But make sure you take chocks

Great campsite with panoramic views set in a valley. A stones throw away from Stainforth Force and you can do a beautiful riverside walk into picturesque town of Settle direct from the campsite.Great restaurant on site with stunning views. Friendly staff, well kept and well maintained.

This was our second stay at Knight Stainforth within a year, and it was worth every minute of the 5 hour drive to get there. From the moment we arrived there was not a single fault with this amazing sight. Surrounded by a 360 view of the stunning Yorkshire Dales this is truly our escape from life, to get away from it all and forget the stresses of everyday life, with the river and water fall running along the bottom of the sight and a stunning walk just over the bridge, this truly is our happy place. As usual all facilities were in fantastically clean condition with plenty of hot water in the showers. We stayed at the sight last August when the it was busier and there was no difference in the standards of cleanliness or hot water supply. We cannot thank the management of the sight enough, nothing was too much trouble for them. We are counting down the days to return to Knight Stainforth aka our happy place.

Great location, quiet, sheltered and spacious pitch with friendly staff and good dog walking area. Facilities always clean and well lit. Easy to walk down into Settle or over to Stainforth , or Faizor, and the Knight's Table handy for a great evening meal. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

We would have used the pub on site but unfortunately was closed on a Tuesday. We walked into Settle by the river which took us about an hour and was lovely.We found it more relaxing to stay out of school holidays as it gets very busy, especially on the camping field. It’s a fab site with very clean amenities and we’ll definitely be returning.
