One of the best campsites in Yorkshire

Despite being on the overflow pitch when we stayed here, the staff are so friendly and the site and shower block so clean, I would definitely stay here again if ever over this way in the future.

First stay at KILLERBY OLD HALL

Murphy, Ann - 29/06/2022

4

Very well equipped pods, site spotless, lovely lakeside location. Had no hot water first night but was quickly rectified by Sean and he even compensated us with 2 pizzas. A lovely personal touch. Only minor negatives were footpath to the pods is bark chippings, almost impossible to push a childs pushchair on it and the swimming pool had no baby change ie fold down table but overall a lovely stay. Also pet friendly

Lovely gem of a campsite

Green, Jenny - 26/06/2022

Stayed here for 2 nights. The facilities were immaculate. Lovely shower (plenty of hooks) and campsite was tidy. Lovely field for walking our dog. Only downside was the bins were full and it would have been useful to have dog poo bin. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area

The pizza were lovely. The site is very central for all the areas that north Yorkshire has to offer. We will definetly be returning .Only one little snag the pitch numbers could do with being further back the pitch, I ran over ours a few times.T hankyou for everything.

Beautiful site, not all facilities open

Walker, Darren - 20/06/2022

Stayed for a 3 night stay in June, the site is very well maintained and touring pitches are adequately sized.Toilet/ shower facilities great, hot water plentiful in ladies but not always in the gents. The site has a small indoor swimming pool but you have to book for it to be opened up, this is a bit inconvenient as on holiday you do not always know or keep to a schedule. I would have liked to swim in the morning but was not possible as there are only afternoon opening times available. We stayed Monday to Wednesday and the site was quite busy yet the on site bar and pizza place were not open?We would have definitely used both had they have been and I would consider June to be high season. It was a shame that 3 advertised facilities were not open/ more accessible, especially as the site fees are on the higher end.The fees are worth the quality of the siteDog walking area up on the field is great for just letting your dog run and rabbit watching in evening, we also had duck

Very Nice Site

Bannister, Roy - 19/06/2022

My Daughter in law had put here caravan in storage there, so we booked for 10 days, arrived Sunday no one around auto book in, pitch allocated by computer not large enough for caravan awning and car, as not allowed to park on grass, site entrance narrow and winding, none of the pitches are the same size, so very bad policy to let a computer allocate pitches, without the size of the outfit sizes being input to the size of pitches, also bad policy that no one is there to book you in on a Sunday, never known this on any site before, even on Cl's, I do not think they are set up for Tourers, as the caravans they have in storage seem to be the main people on site and take up most of the pitches, pity as it is a very nice site and the toilets are excellent, very large field for dogs, maybe it was the wrong time we visited as they were setting up the lodges around the lake, but there seemed to be a lack of staff, office seems to be only staffed part time.

Lovely clean friendly site with everything you need. By keeping the caravan site the same size keeps the friendly coziness of feeling you are in the wilderness.
