If it's the idea of waking up to a beautiful coastal view of the North Atlantic Ocean, with Co. Donegal visible on the horizon, then Juniper Hill Holiday Park is the place to stay.
Just across the road from the coastal walks, rock pools, par 3 golf course and pitch and putt, Juniper Hill Holiday Park is located just between Carrick Dhu Holiday Park and the seaside harbour town of Portstewart.
It is well connected by the local bus routes and cycle path making it the perfect base for the many popular north coast restaurants, world class golf courses, ice cream parlours, coffee shops and other local attractions.
Juniper Hill Holiday Park is the ideal place to stay during the weekend of the Annual North West 200 motorcycle race, as you will not even have to leave the park to enjoy the atmosphere of the race, as all the action takes place right in front of the park.

Had a pleasant stay for one night with hubby, Labrador and Rottweiler 🥰. We were there mid week and the site was very very quiet with few residents in both touring and static vans. Pros Very helpful and pleasant staff who were keen to make our stay a happy one Clean and tidy toilets and washing facilities Shower 20p but as we used the van shower, cannot comment on water or time of shower Beautiful view from front row or other well situated sites on the hill Site seemed well maintained and all grass was very neat Cons No on site shop or cafe and long walk to either portstewart or portrush Toilets / shower block facilities very dated. But as I said they were very clean. Sites mostly grass pitches and not a lot of space betweenAlso ground was very sloping but it is Juniper “Hill” !! Would be happy to use again. Thank you juniper hill staff 👏👏
Juniper hill is in a great location and I have enjoyed going since I was a child. However in comparison to other sites around the north coast it is beginning to look very dated. The touring pitches which I stay really need to be concrete based as when it’s wet the caravan sinks and the mess carried through the van is awful. Also there isn’t even a shop on site for milk or bread. Yet when you drive in there empty buildings which could be out to better use. Even the office is a shack of a place. It all needs levelled and redesigned with proper facilities as the site fees should be generating enough income. It’s a great site it just needs modernisation and bringing up to standard. It hasn’t changed since I was a child and I’m now in my 40’s
Stayed with a friend for the northwest200.On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and when we explained it was our first visit he took the time to explain everything to us and give us a site map to show us our spot and wash facility location etc. everything was easy to understand and had no problems navigating the site. The location is fantastic and only a few minutes away from shops bars etc. would 100% recommend and will definitely be back in the future.
Had a fantastic time at Juniper Hill, good facililities, excellent cleaning staff in the toilets and a good park for the kids, it would get 5 stars if there was an on site shop and chippy.
Site is kept very clean. Excellent location between Portrush and Portstewart with beautiful sea views. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Toilet/shower block is immaculate with staff visibly cleaning many times throughout the day. We return year after year as we just love it here..
Came for the nw200 and have been coming for many years still disappointed we cant book now for next year surly taking a deposit off us now makes sence.
Staff at Juniper are very friendly and helpful. The facilities and ground are kept very clean and tidy. The site is within easy walking distance to Portstewart and Portrush. Local Resturant’s with in walking distance. Toilet complex is kept very clean but the who building could be brought into the 20th century. Access is tight for the new 8ft wide caravans especially the last turn up onto the site. Quite and Friendly site.
Friendly staff, access to amenities (electric, water etc) and space around caravan all excellent and location hard to beat. As good as top camp sites in Britain.
Great 10days over the two early May bank holidays, as expected a coastal breeze but lovely, handy to both Portrush n Portstewart. Linda in office very helpful and accommodating. Some caravaners not parked properly on their pitches thus leaving others tight for space on theirs and some breaking the 1 car per pitch rule , again leaving others tight space but that’s just people bending rules.Overal enjoyable and booked to go back !
Always brilliant at this site!. The staff are so helpful and friendly. We wouldn't stay anywhere else at the North Coast.
