Fabulous site, we’d been before and tried earlier this year but our car broke down on the way. However the site transferred our booking to later in the year at no extra cost. Stayed in our tourer caravan on a gravel serviced pitch so no lugging water and waste. Very quiet site, amenities on site are really nice and new showers toilets. Great places to visit and cycle to from site. Will return. Prices higher than other sites but well worth it IMO. Shout out to Andrew Glover the site director who was very welcoming and a great help.

Very peaceful beautiful river loved watching my husband fishing my dog Benji loved having a swim.we were met by a lovely man called Andrew who was very helpful shower and toilets very clean and we will be definitely coming back.

We had 5 nights at Irfron River in July with my in laws and our touring caravans. We were made extremely welcome on arrival by the owners Mr & Mrs Hilden and Andrew the operations Director, got shown to our pitch which was absolutely spotless, own tap too which is always a bonus when you don’t have to drag water barrels miles! Toilet and shower block was one of the cleanest we have seen and we have been caravanning for over 20 years.Beautiful area, very relaxing and we will definitely be going back to Irfron Riverin the near future.Highly recommend

The welcome by the staff and ongoing engagement was excellent, very friendly. The pitch was good with great views, free WiFi was fast and reliable. The toilets were spotless and of a high standard, our only other comment (about the toilets) was the shared facilities, which is unusual in our experience, and could create some embarrassing/sensitive encounters. Our main comment would be on the pricing, which is high when based against other campsites in Mid Wales with a similar (if not higher) standard of facilities. Our booking didn’t permit any refunds or change of dates, which we agreed to, but would probably prevent us returning (people do get sick, preventing travel!). In summary, a good friendly site but some financial considerations to take into account.

Very beautiful and quiet site, with very welcoming owners and a gift of welsh cakes which went down nicely with a cuppa after setting up. Very clean showers, toilets and all facilities there were great. We were not there much due to the nature of our stay but while we were it was fabulous. The only down side I thought it was a tad expensive as extras were quite a lot. I haven’t been caravanning for a while so maybe it’s just the way it goes. Anyway lovely stay. Would go again
